400,000 former Anglicans worldwide seek immediate unity with Rome
Leaders of more than 400,000 Anglicans who quit over women priests are to seek immediate unity with Rome under the apostolic constitution announced by Pope Benedict XVI. They will be among the first to take up an option allowing Anglicans to join an “ordinariate” that brings them into full communion with Roman Catholics while retaining elements of their Anglican identity.

The Pope’s move is regarded by some Anglicans as one of the most dramatic developments in Protestant christendom since the Reformation gave birth to the Church of England 400 years ago. ...

A word in season for the Lord's people . .

"The differing modes of Popery, Roman and Anglican, shall pass away as all things else have done that withstood the cross and cause of Jesus Christ. Even as a moment's foam dissolves into the wave that bears it and is gone forever, so shall all these disappear: yet shall Jesus Christ's holy gospel and himself, the Saviour, be set on high as a rock defying the billows. What a day was that when Luther's rough protest broke the silence of the dark ages, when the clear teaching of Calvin followed, and the bold notes of Zwingle were heard, and a thousand voices shouted in chorus! What a day was that when the nations awoke from their long sleep to lie no longer under priestly domination, resolute to be free! Cannot God, who sent one Reformation, send another? Be of good courage, for brighter days are on the way. There shall come yet greater awakenings, the Lord the avenger of his church shall yet arise, and the stone which the builders disallowed, the same shall be the head stone of the corner."

Excerpt from C.H.Spurgeon's Sermon entitled 'Jesus, The Stumbling Stone of Unbelievers' (1 Peter 2:7-8)

For some reason, this brings to mind the story of the masochist and the sadist who find each other at a night club, believing this will be the greatest night of their perverse lives. Hastening to seclusion at the
home of the sadist, the masochist tears off his clothes and says, 'Hurt me!'. Whereupon the masochist calmly folds his arms, grins, and says, 'No.'.

Guess who's who.

Quite true, Getting Lost!

Colossians 2
8 See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, according to the tradition of men, according to the elementary principles of the world, rather than according to Christ.
9 For in Him all the fulness of Deity dwells in bodily form,
10 and in Him you have been made complete, and He is the head over all rule and authority;---NASB

It's more than Roman Catholics, Mormons and Jehovah Witnesses who suffer from traditions and works salvation.

Satan's Counterfeiting of Christianity

"The Pope’s move is regarded by some Anglicans as one of the most dramatic developments in Protestant christendom since the Reformation"

The Pope cannot "move" anything in Protestant Christendom.

However
The Anglican church does not "move" or live in Protestant Christendom.

Therefore
Is the Pope lost.
Yes.
Spiritually and ecclesiastically.

So are the Anglicans, who have embraced the anti-Christian religion of Liberalism.

Therefore the Anglicans who move to popedom are the lost seeking to get even more lost!!!

Complicated without God isn't it.

22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Ah, putting them under the umbrella of Satan. One hardly has to ask the question, Is the One True Church Roman Catholic?, but notice the answer to this one, Should Roman Catholicism really be classified as a Christian religion? -- No.

From the article,'In the US a writer for the Jesuit magazine America expressed fears that some newcomers would be “nostalgists, anti-feminists and anti-gay bigots”.'

Since this group like the Eastern Rite would be allowed to have married priests, this again raises the question of, Clerical Celibacy. Oh, well, A Catholic is a Catholic is a Catholic?
