Atheism is coming to the subway — or at least subway ads promoting it are.
Starting next Monday, a coalition of local groups will run a monthlong advertising campaign in a dozen Manhattan subway stations with the slogan “A Million New Yorkers Are Good Without God. Are You?” The posters also advertise the Web site BigAppleCoR.org, which provides a listing of local groups affiliated with the Coalition of Reason, the umbrella organization that coordinated the campaign.
This ad should be re-written, "Good without God for now." Ever see those "good without God" types when they're facing death?" They're either silly with terror at the horror they know they face or they change their "good without God" minds (which some call deathbed or foxhole conversion).
They have eaten of the tree 'which I have commanded you not to eat.' Having rejected the true reference for what is good and evil, well... you know; blind... blind... ditch.
Atheists are "good" only because it is not in their best interests to misbehave. As things stand for now at least, criminal behavior (or behaviour, if you like) carries unpleasant penalties. Remove the penalties, and give time for it to sink in, and you'll see all of the token vices. In the words of the "Men's Warehouse" guy, I guarantee it.
I highly recommend the last part of Anne Coulter's book, "Godless".
Looks like New York won't need a police department anymore..........or IRS collectors, prisons, parking tickets, judges, lawyers, human resource departments. No more need for locksmiths (won't need locks on doors), street lights or mess of other things, because the great people of New York are all now "good". Crime will go down to 0% right?
Yes, Max. That’s when they will find out (the hard way) that they must have met an absolutely perfect standard from the moment they were born until death. Not even one sin will be overlooked.
“A Million New Yorkers Are Good Without God. Are You?”
Ignorance is bliss???
God wrote Luke 6:32 For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them. 33 And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same. 34 And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again. 35 But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil."
