Mothers at War
When Specialist Jaymie Holschlag returned home after 12 months in Iraq, a new set of children awaited her.

Her son, Seth, 10, who had moved in with his grandfather, switching towns and schools, was angry and depressed. His grades had plummeted and his weight had ballooned by 60 pounds. Her 4-year-old daughter, Celeste, scarcely knew her. And in Specialist Holschlag’s absence, new rules had taken hold — chocolate syrup on waffles, Mountain Dew with dinner. Any hint of a return to the old order met with tirades and tantrums.

Specialist Holschlag, a single mother and a combat medic, had changed profoundly, too. The violence in Ramadi had staked a claim on her patience, her tenderness and her resilience. She snapped at her children routinely, at times harshly. ...

Being in the military is not the role of women! Instruction to Wives, Mothers & Their Husbands--A Study of Women's Roles. It is anti-Christian for so-call "Christian" nations to put their women in an unnatural position as being in the military.

Deuteronomy 24
5 "When a man takes a new wife, he shall not go out with the army, nor be charged with any duty; he shall be free at home one year and shall give happiness to his wife whom he has taken.---NASB

I see no mention of role reversals here! Oh, by the way, Should Roman Catholicism really be classified as a Christian religion? -- No.

Ok, sorry brother.

You are right, there is a serious problem between the people of God and the people of Satan. These insane, psychotic, dopey heathen fools are causing us much trouble.

We can start in America, but since God wants his children to live all over the world, being under the new covenant, the heathen nations must therefore be purged.

Tony Lopez-Cisneros can be our motivator, rallying the troops, and John Yurich can be put on the front line. We can meet up in Chicago and inquire of the Lord and thus plan our strategy. Perhaps JV can be our Joshua? My suggestion is that judgment should begin at the house of God, particularly those involved in the organized phony churches, including the women and children. No one will escape.

If you are a child of God and want to be part of his military, please contact Tony and he can assign you a suitable position and arm you accordingly.

"Psalms 2:8 Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession."

Well I said I hadn't formulated an opinion yet, and I find it very difficult to do so.

The point I was making is that a fight can only take place if two parties are willing to fight. If one refuses, there is maybe an assault, but no fight. Take that to international level, and you get situations like German occupation and life, or resistance and possibilities of death. And don't forget that Britain declared war on Hitler, and went to war voluntarily.

But as I say, I am unsure, although the biblical position for today seems to be that the fighting and aggression internationally is by the ungodly, many of them not secular but religious.

Of course, you can't kill a Christian, only transfer them to a better place.

Your last question.

"With man it is impossible, but not with God."

War is simply an arguement between two nations or factions to settle or solve a difference of opinion.
The people who fight wars are professional soldiers, it is what they want to do.
In civil society we have police to fight these wars against criminals.
The international way of solving the problem is military might.
If a country bombs your town, you will want someone to do something about it. Hence YOUR need for military.
God wanted His people to live in a particular piece of real estate. Solution = Joshua and Israel go to war. Simple part of human reality.

So then, Bert, capitulation is not really an option, because there would still be murder and mayhem perpetrated against the innocent.

But as regards Jesus return, there is no "chance" about it. He is coming back, not, this time, in humility and grace, but as Lord of lords and King of kings, to separate folks into two groups, sheep and goats. This will be an eternal separating, and the sheep (called and chosen) will rejoice, because they are like sheep, and desire not to hurt, fight, destroy, but rather to love, show grace and forgiveness, and live in harmony and joy. This due to their renewed nature, being new creatures in Christ Jesus, which began with God's sovereign regenerating power, and continued with the Holy Ghost working faith and love and repentance in the heart, all by grace, of which we might say that such grace endears us so much to the Saviour, that we can voluntarily serve him with felicity, knowing that our salvation is entirely dependent on the work of Calvary.

I find this debate interesting, and have not formulated an opinion, despite reading the Bible through many times. A question, if I may....

So God says to murder and maim in the name of antichristian nations? Perhaps you are a Mormon and America is Canaan? Or just a bloodthirsty Romanist?

Well, according to your strange reasoning, I suppose I could gather up my brethren from around the world, take up carnal weapons, slaughter every man, woman, and child located within the boundaries of the USA, burning and obliterating every satanic building, image, idol, and symbol that permeates the land, especially in the area known as DC, all because the Lord has told us so - according to your reasoning that is.

Joshua 1:3 "Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses.
4 From the wilderness and this Lebanon even unto the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and unto the great sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your coast.
5 There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
6 Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give them."

THUS was Joshua and the ARMY of Israel commanded to kill and destroy all of Canaan and take their lands from them. BY GOD!!

What kind of country sends women out to fight their wars for them?

Good grief.

Next thing you know the men in the U.S. will be wanting their wives & mothers to go out and earn them a living. Oh wait...

I'd have to disagree with Barry. From what I've seen, there isn't an actual need for women and mothers to fight, men as they are now can do the job. And as someone who is against Selective Services, I definitely disagree about the military thing. Yes men (as well as women) need discipline and self respect, but I don't think they should get it from the military.

I think it's a disgrace that mothers should abandon their primary post -- their families -- for something they may perceive is more important or more glorious. You can call it patriotism -- but it just looks selfish to me.
