About half (48%) of white mainline Protestants believe the earth is warming as the result of human activity -- roughly the same proportion as among all Americans (47%) -- but only a third of white evangelical Protestants (34%) share that belief. In fact, white evangelical Protestants are the most likely to say there is no solid evidence that global warming is occurring (31%).

Global warming mythology takes another hit upside the head, as it has done for several years now.
"The average June-August 2009 summer temperature for the contiguous United States was below average – the 34th coolest on record, according to a preliminary analysis by NOAA’s National Climatic Data Center in Asheville, N.C. August was also below the long-term average. The analysis is based on records dating back to 1895."
But it isn't likely that true global warming believers will give up their religious fervor, just to deal with reality.

Mike, Yes, thank you for clarifying---our gov's volunteer us to take these chemicals FOR OUR GOOD! I mean all this global warming stuff has nothing to do with making you or me healthy! So we used to call it a group of people overthrowing a nation, now we call it, UMM, "survival of the fittest"---those who survive the scientific attack on humankind will get to take the spoils.
I think the temperatures may be warming a bit. It takes longer and longer for fall and winter to get to the United States, it's very hot here in Taiwan, but what do you expect. I think "climate change" is a natural occurance. Eventually, everything will burn up any way, maybe God is starting up the engines.

Fluorides in the river? In the county where I live, it is put into the municipal drinking water.
