Glenn Beck goes after Color of Change co-founder Van Jones
Glenn Beck used his popular Fox News show this afternoon to attack the background of Van Jones, a White House environmental advisor who co-founded an African American political advocacy group that organized an advertising boycott of his program.

During his 2 p.m. PDT show, Beck did not address the boycott spearheaded by Color of Change to protest the talk show host’s remark last month that he believes President Obama is “a racist.”

Instead, he spent a large share of his program suggesting that Jones, who co-founded Color of Change in 2005, is a radical. Jones now serves as a special advisor for Green Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation at the White House Council on Environmental Quality.

During a six-minute biographical profile, set to ominous music, Beck said Jones was twice arrested for political protests and has described himself as a "rowdy black nationalist." The talk show host cast the ...

The Doctrine of Apostates
There are no correct ideas in Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism or any other religion that denies the Deity Of Jesus and denies the Holy Trinity because they do not worship Jesus as God. On the other hand Catholicism does and has always acknowledged the Deity Of Jesus and the Holy Trinity and worships Jesus as God.

Wardle:The entire Mass is unscriptural and idolatrous? Are you stating that the Apostles and Nicene Creeds, the Bible readings, the Lord's Prayer and prayers to Jesus are unscriptural and idolatrous?

John Y.
The only thing Scriptural about the mass is that both refer to idolatry.

Scripture *CONDEMNS* idolatry.

The mass *IS* idolatry.

You are a sinner JY.
The sinners choice out of idolatry is still idolatry.

Another choice. Get yourself to a real church soon or stay on the bus to hell.

My parents particiated in ever aspect of the Mass. But I particiate only in the scriptural aspects of the Mass because I am cognizant of the fact that there are unscriptural aspects of the Mass as well as scriptural aspects of the Mass. And thus I would being going against the Lord Jesus by participating in the unscriptural aspects of the Mass. As to remaining a registered Democrat. What difference does it make if I remain a registered Democrat? I am a conservative Democrat which means that I am against abortion totally as well as ever other perversion.

I think Zell Miller, as mentioned by an earlier poster, is a conservative Democrat. I really believe there is a difference, but the conservative Dem is surely a dying breed. If you think about it the conservative Republican isn't looking too healthy either. I consider myself a Christian conservative. I try my best to vote with my conscience, and more times than not, I've voted GOP. Next election I'm going to stick with my convictions even more and start voting for third party candidates. At some point we have to stop thinking of these votes as 'wasted'. If a great third party candidate showed up on the national scene, I believe there are enough like minded conservative, "common sense" voters, as Beck would put it, to get that candidate into office. The key is to stop listening to what the media says and actually make our voices heard. Now, if we can only find that candidate that sticks with traditional Biblical values...

I am only a Democrat because my parents were Democrats and because if it had not been for the work programs of the Works Progress Administration and the Civilian Conservation Corps my late Father would not have been able to get a job to support my Grandparents after graduating from high school in 1935.

What is a conservative Democrat? You accept abortions just less of them?
You allow for "absolute" liberty and "total" freedom of expression and agree with the rights of perversity but simply disallow the sanctioning of homosexual marriage?
Another key Democratic position is the redistribution of wealth. A Democrat would support an exorbitant tax rate on a particular class simply because they were either were talented and/or hard-working and therefore should be penalized. However, a Conservative Dem. might only want to penalize them
marginally?
As a conservative Democrat I am totally against abortion as well as all forms of perversion and I am totally against an exorbitant tax rate on the wealthy. In fact I agree that the wealthy and everybody deserves a tax break.

John, the conservative Democrats were defeated when Woodrow Wilson won the party's nomination almost a hundred years ago, were demoralized further by 13 years of FDR, were so marginalized by the time of JFK that he is now considered a conservative Democrat (!), and were utterly driven from their party in the 90s by the Clintons.

Look up Zell Miller's comments from the 2004 Republican convention.

I like to watch the Glenn Beck Program on Fox News Channel. I like to watch the O'reilly Factor on Fox News News Channel. In fact I like most of the programs on Fox News Channel. The reason that I like Fox News Channel is because it is a conservative network and I am a conservative Democrat.
