Is Pope Benedict the next 'saint machine?'
Pope Benedict XVI may never catch up with Pope John Paul II's astonishing total number of declared saints -- people whose heavenly intercessions with God prompted at least two miracles.

But he's moving at a pretty good clip in the rate of canonizations -- more than 23 saints celebrated in six ceremonies since Benedict became pope in April 2005. By comparison, John Paul II, who eventually canonized 482, did none in his first three years, says Matthew Bunson, editor of The Catholic Almanac and author of John Paul II's Book of Saints. ...

Are Catholics Christians?

Sunday October 7th 1990 I came to a full assurance of faith by God's Sovereign grace & went to my nearest church. The first hymn 'Blessed Assurance Jesus is Mine'-hot tears fell onto my hymn book-the only occasion I heard gospel truth in that ecumenical Methodist church. Mentioning the blessing of Ephesians 2: 8 I knew then I was living among the dead. Next the local Billy Graham style FIEC where they enjoy fellowship with the local RC priest-grace moved me-to depart. In 1 year I went from a JW Kingdom hall- saved by grace- ecumenism- neo-evangelicalism to understanding the doctrines of grace. God doesn't leave his own in the midst of apostasy.

"The Bible, God’s written word is the inerrant and infallible authority against the apostasy of the Catholic Church and against her false gospel"

Against every apostate church and every false gospel!

Today I read the article above by Richard Bennett former RC priest, then this video of his finding the authentic gospel. View them GG!

Amen to your post Careful, and to that I would add the witness of God's own precious WORD, found in these Scripture citations:

Romans 9:16:
"So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that showeth mercy."

Titus 3:5-7
"Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life."

John 15:16a
"Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain:"

Acts 2:47a
" . . . . And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved."

Ah, GG, as the
The American Tract Dictionary (1859) wrote:
SAINT:

A holy person, a friend of God, either on earth or in heaven, De 33:2. It is sometimes used of the pious Israelites, as Ps 16:3 34:9. Nothing is more frequent in Paul than the name of saints given to all Christians, Ro 1:7 8:27 12:13 15:25,31 16:2. In this acceptation it continued during the early ages of Christianity; nor was it applied to individuals declared to be saints by any other act of the church than admission to its membership, till various corruptions had depraved the primitive principles. The church of Rome assumes the power of making saints; that is, of announcing certain departed spirits as objects of worship, from whom the faithful may solicit favors-a notion worthy of the dark ages in which it originated.

Who and What is the Church?

Exactly. Graven images of idolatry .....

who steal the worship of God and His Christ.

Popes promotions by human means without the support of Scripture.
Thus from an antichrist source.

Election is a work ONLY of God and By God before the foundation of the world.

GOD does not activate CHOICE by the sinners means and decision.

God does the election GG.

And HE does not "promote" any evil hearted sinners above their station.
Even if the Pope pretends too.

And how do you see so well into men's hearts that you know that they are ALL evil? The Canonization process is solely for the purpose of promoting men and women who have lived an exemplory life and present them to the faithful as an example to follow. If you are already perfect, don't follow their example.

"the Vatican's Secretariat for Beatification and Canonization. It will issue a recommendation to the Pope, whose discernment of sainthood is the essential final step."

The idea that evil hearted sinners can promote evil hearted sinners to positions of authority in God's Kingdom, is such a rediculous one that it amazes me that anyone with normal common sense would give any credit to it.

Whats even more rediculoius is that the Roman Catholics have such a conveyor belt industry of this production. This demonstrates how that people who invent their own religion and cannot read the Bible make such a sinful mockery of the truth.

"Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."

BUT

"And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of."
