Limbaugh: 'Obama has yet to prove he's a citizen'
Top-rated radio host Rush Limbaugh, upset that he's forced to report his every movement to tax authorities, blasted President Obama for failing to prove he is natural-born citizen of the United States.

On his show today, Limbaugh told listeners, "As you know, I'm in the midst of another harassing audit from New York State and New York City for the last three years. We're up to 16 different ways I have to prove to New York City and state tax authorities where I have been every day – not just work week – but every day, for the past three years."

He continued, "Barack Obama has yet to have to prove that he's a citizen. All he has to do is show a birth certificate. He has yet to have to prove he's a citizen. I have to show them 14 different ways where the h--- I am every day of the year for three years." ...

Are you saying that scripture teaches that Christians should not be involved in government, military and public service?
Certainly not. What did John the Baptist answer the soldiers who asked him?

Luke 3:14
"And the soldiers likewise demanded of him, saying, And what shall we do? And he said unto them, Do violence to no man, neither accuse any falsely; and be content with your wages."

What did Paul tell us?

1 Co. 7:20-24
"Let every man abide in the same calling wherein he was called. Art thou called being a servant? care not for it: but if thou mayest be made free, use it rather. For he that is called in the Lord, being a servant, is the Lord's freeman: likewise also he that is called, being free, is Christ's servant. Ye are bought with a price; be not ye the servants of men. Brethren, let every man, wherein he is called, therein abide with God."

So, if you are called out of the world and find yourself in such a profession, Paul says be content with that. If you are a young Christian just beginning in your career, seek the Lord's will for your life. There is no rule against such employment that I know of.

The question is, to whom do we look for our salvation: God, or the government?

1. The church does not have four walls. It is the living body of Christ. See Ro. 12:5; 1 Co. 10:12, 12:12,27; Eph. 3:6, 4:12; Col. 1:24.

2. If you allow Christ to live through you, individuals you encounter (and therefore society) will encounter Christ, and it will have an impact.

3. I am practicing what I believe is true when I act as though my vote counts for very little since all the candidates are either unregenerate or very weak Christians. I know that God will accomplish what he wills through whomever is in office. See Ez. 7:27; Prov. 21:1; Dan. 11:27; Ro. 13.

4. "Just preaching"?

1 Co. 1:18,20-24
For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. ...
Hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe. ... But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness; But unto them which are called, ... Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

"Just" the power and wisdom of God????

A practicing muslim understands what he believes and involves his faith in every facet of life. Islam is everything, life, work, worship, play, death, and politics. He is a slave to it. Should it also also be said of the Christian who has the True Living Hope living in him. Why do we seperate out our faith to just hidding and practicing it within the four walls of the Church; and leave it out of society? Does a Christian vote his moral choice for office; does a christian pratice what he believes to be true? Or do we just glide through life on some sort of monastic flying carpet and not influence the world for Christ other than just preaching? Jewish proverbs says that the farmer prepares the field, but it is God who sends the rain. The Elect have always stood against injustices in societies. Is that politics; or is it people who stand for Christ and His law of loving God, and loving his brother?

That is an acceptable reply (in that it is consistent). And I agree about 501C3, too. It is incomprehensible to me why more pastors, many of whom loudly decry attacks on religious freedom by police & the courts, don't see this. I suspect they are bound to idea of "professional Christianity" (clericalism).

So would Mr. Dispy object if I proposed cancellation of US subsidies for Israel (and other US "client states")?
It wouldn't bother me in the least if you made such a proposal. It also wouldn't bother me if you proposed doing away with subsidies of churches and pastors by abolishing the 501(c)(3) rule and similar laws.

My God is so rich and so powerful that I can say without hesitation that he will subsidize everything he intends to accomplish in this world. In fact, he will not only pay for it, he will do it by his power and grace. My confidence is in him, not in the governments of this world.

John Paul:
Your assertion that I propose doing nothing ignores what I said earlier. We are not to do nothing, we are to preach the gospel and stand for the truth. The problem with those who have a low view of God and / or weak faith is that they believe God needs help from them at every turn.

As for being spineless, which requires more courage: preaching the gospel through your life and actions wherever you go, or posting opinions on this website? Trusting the Lord to accomplish his purpose, or wasting money on political campaigns?

We as Christians are citizens of two worlds..heaven and earth. As Christians we live our faith in this world....love your neighbor, defend the innocent (orphan, widow, the helpless). No greater love it there than to lay down your life (for others) for the cause of Christ. This Do nothing, say nothing, don't stand out, stay quiet, be in the world but do not engage the world is not what Christ taught. Our light is to shine in a dark world. Sounds like we are batteling a form of Hyper Calvinism, when Christians say not to engage this world. It is amazing to stand back and see people do nothing (spineless faith). Your life will reflect the living out of your faith

Dispensational theology has created such an escapest mentality in Christianity that you can't even tell the church from the world.
1. My way of life is not defined by the constitution of any country, or any denomination for that matter.

"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

Jesus is the way, not the constitution.

2. Real freedom is bought with Jesus' blood, not the blood of patriots.

"Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence."

That must be a disappointing statement to you, but even the NIV gets pretty close to the right translation of that verse.

3. Dispensational theology calls for separation from the world, not involvement in its politics. Do you even read the words you write? How does forming pressure groups to change the world's policies separate you from the world?

The remaining slander is not worthy of response.

German Christians turned up the organ music as the trains streamed by with Jewish prisoners; you are doing the same! Our constitutional (our way of life) needs to be defended. Freedom is bought with blood! If anyone knows this, it would be the Christian that understands it the clearest. Dispensational theology has created such an escapest mentality in Christianity that you can't even tell the church from the world. A. W. Pink said that Dispensational theology was one of the greatest evils ever accepted by the Church. That is why American Christians can willingly take vaccines made from the abortion industry; your wives at home are popping birth control pills killing off unborn children as you christian husbands authorize the practice. Christ came that we would not live in sin. We throw the book of James right out the window; your works will manifest your faith. You guys need to have your minds controlled by the Spirit of God; you are ordered by Christ to come out from evil, not lay in it. A fresh stream brings forth fresh water, not salt water; Hello, get the picture! You all are more concerned with your black leather covered KJV 1611 rather than heeding the living word of God

Cuz theological concepts like, "God is going to pull my whole church out of this, magically, just when things get tough for MEEEE!" can really be a form of complacency. Love isn't complacent.
Who said anything about not speaking up against what is wrong? Peter and John and Paul all were examples of doing so. But the only time we are told of one of them taking up arms, the Lord Jesus rebuked Peter and repaired Malchus' ear.

It takes a lot more courage to speak against evil and not retaliate when the wicked revile and persecute us for it, than it does to plot revolution in backwoods militia camps based on a political document written by men who were not all Christians.

All the powers that be are ordained of God, including the wicked rulers.

And you have wrongly characterized the rapture. Eve was deceived, Adam was not. This is why women are not to teach doctrine.

That is part of the theory of American government, but is it the whole theory? Is it the actual practice? Are we all really equal with the president or senators in power, or has that power been concentrated into the hands of these officials in order that the government can conduct business? Does the constitution give each of us the right to, say, declare war, or is that power reserved to a certain limited group of people?

More importantly, are "the people" the same as the "higher powers" that Paul refers to? If so, how can we be subject to ourselves?

Romans 13:1
Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.

Further, as ambassadors of Christ, are we really even part of "the people"? Personally, I consider myself a citizen of heaven, not of the U.S.

Citing Judges as an excuse for rebellion against the government constituted by God does not negate the numerous commands Christians are given in the NT to obey the government. The only exception is still when we are commanded to do something contrary to God's will, or forbidden to do something God requires of us.
So, pay your taxes and let God have his way with this wayward nation through the Obama administration.
Jim's comment about the American revolutionaries is right on, btw.

True enough, but that was under another dispensation.

There are three kinds of people in God's economy: Jews, Gentiles, and the children of God. When a Jew becomes a Christian, he gives up the privileges and obligations of being a Jew under the Law. When a Gentile becomes a Christian, he forfeits the benefits of earthly power that the Gentiles have enjoyed ever since the Babylonian captivity, when the times of the Gentiles began.

Let's NOT Get Off Track On The ISSUE At Hand:

"Obama Has Yet To (Publicly) Prove He's A (Natural Born United States) Citizen" !

Let Me Clarify/Qualify The Above Declaration:

QUACK & CHARLATAN "U.S. President" Obama Has Yet To Publicly, Legally & Documentarily Prove, Beyond A Shadow Of A Doubt, That He's A U.S. Constitutional & Legal Natural Born Citizen Of The United States Of America !

Hawaiian Public-Elected Officials Can "Vouch" For Obama's "Locked Up In A State Vault" 'Original Birth-Certificate' Until They Are Blue In Their Faces:

But Not Until His ORIGINAL Birth-Certificate & Birth Records/School-Education Records Are Made PUBLIC & Verified As To Their Authenticity By Professional "Public Records" Authorities--Will The Question Of Obama's Birth-Certificate/Education-Records EVER Be Settled.

In The Mean Time, Until Obama Releases The Aforesaid Original Birth-Certificate/Education-Records For Public & World-Wide Authentication & Verification: I, Tony Lopez-Cisneros--And Hundreds Of Millions Of Natural Born U.S. Citizens, Will Consider Barack Hussein Obama To NOT Be A Natural Born Citizen Of The U.S.A.--Like Ourselves--But A Foreign/Alien Born National (Natural Born Citizen) Of The African Nation of KENYA !

OBAMA: "COUGH UP" THE RECORDS--"PUT UP" OR SHUT !

Bob, You Hit The Nail On The HEAD......

A Second Term !

The True Historic Roman-"Catholic" Reformers, Like Desiderius Erasmus & My Ancestor "Cardinal" Jimenez-(XIMENES)-De Cisneros, Interpreted The Authorized Biblical "Render To Cesaer" As Meaning "Render Unto The 'Pope'/'Papacy " !

Thus The Authorized Biblical Reading Would Say: "Render To The 'Pope' (Papacy) What's The 'Pope's' (Papacy's) AND To (The Authorized Biblical) GOD What's (The Authorized Biblical) GOD'S" !

This Is How They Could ULTIMATELY "Disobey The 'Pope'/'Papacy' On Holy Scriptural Grounds" And Give To The Darken-Aged World Their ORIGINAL (Byzantine/Eastern/Majority-Text) GREEK NEW TESTAMENTS !

My Ancestor & Erasmus (Both Sons Of Pre-Council of Trent Roman-"Catholicism") Were TEXTUS RECEPTUS Recipiants/Custodians.

This, Ofcourse, Being BEFORE The Satanic/Devil/Demon-Possessed "Jesuit" Controlled COUNCIL OF TRENT !
