Creationists Reach Out to Teachers with Darwin Bibles

Creation proponents are distributing thousands of creationist materials and Darwin Bibles to attendees at the National Education Association's annual meeting in San Diego, Calif., this week.

"Our goal this week is not to create controversy or hold a revival," noted Ken Ham, founder and president of Answers in Genesis and a Young Earth creationist. "We simply want to balance the representation of views presented at the conference."

Ham's ministry donated thousands of DVDs and books for this year's outreach. ...

Darwin Bible? I hope it delineates carefully there commentary, no matter how accurate, from the Scripture. Now I have nothing against Study Bibles, e.g., NAS MacArthur Study Bible or the Ryrie Study Bible for King James users. But I really get tired of seeing the Bible being messed with, the Church of Christ put out versions of the ASV with some unannounced Arminian theology stuck in the middle. I carefully removed it with a razor blade. Unless the commentary is clearly separated from Scripture, I don't care if it's Arminian or Calvinist, it deserves exactly the same treatment I gave to the Church of Christ stuff!
