The organization periodically assembles information for its constituency, the hundreds of thousands of families across the United States that teach their own children at home.

This new report by Chris Klicka, senior counsel for the HSLDA, is titled, "The Myth of Teacher Qualifications." ...

Homeschooling in the UK is under threat from bureaucrats and politicians.
Quote...

"LONDON, June 11, 2009 (LifeSiteNews.com) – Under newly announced Labour government rules, local council authorities are authorized to enter private homes to interview children, without parents present, on their safety and “quality of education.” The new regulations have raised fears among Britain’s homeschooling community of a government attack on the rights of parents to educate their children at home.
Families will be forced to register with authorities and could face criminal penalties if they are deemed to be inadequately educating their children"

I can see these bureaucrats forcing homosexual lifestyle and evolution onto unsuspecting Christian parents!!!

It is interesting that in an advertisement for supporting public schools in Nebraska. No, I'm not hostile to public school system, though I support Christian schooling as well, one woman MD congratulated one public school for being a big help to her, by the way this teacher was also her mother, well yeah! Links To State Laws & Organizations For Homeschoolers and for Nebraska in particular, Encouraging and supporting Christian families who educate their children at home.

Interesting. Both my mom and my dad were teachers, but they were too busy teaching other people's kids to teach me in the same formal manner. I'm sure they could've done at least as well as the public school system I was trained in, and the extra attention available for more difficult subjects would've been very welcome indeed.

Home-schooling rules!
