But now you can upload your video in any bitrate and we will automatically convert it with the optimal settings to the acceptable bitrate.

Easy upload from popular tools.
Many of today's handheld digital video recorders and software tools can already create directly in the WMV or MP4 format (ie: Google's Picasa). The difficulty in the past has typically been in getting the format and bitrate setting just right. Now you can simply upload any WMV or MP4 file! Hooray for auto-convert!
Benefits of getting it right.
There are still very good reasons to have your videos already encoded in the WMV format with the correct bitrate settings before uploading to our site. First, it will speed up your own upload time as the filesize will be much smaller. Second, our system will automatically skip the conversion process if it detects that the WMV is already in the correct format— which means that your video will appear on the site much faster.
HIFI supported as well as widescreen videos.
The auto-conversion process appropriately converts your videos depending on whether you are a regular broadcaster or a HIFI broadcaster. Additionally, widescreen videos are now supported so your videos will look great in both 4:3 and 16:9 sizes! Click here for an example of a widescreen video.
Tip: No matter what width and height video resolution you choose, be sure to only use square pixels to avoid the video image being distorted.
Auto-creation of audio-only MP3!
Finally, one new bonus feature! For any video that is uploaded, we will automatically generate an audio-only MP3 version of that video if one is not available! Having an MP3 version of the video is great for dialup users as well as people wishing to conveniently listen to great video content on MP3 players or over a slower cellular network!
The MP3 version is automatically generated 24 hours after the video is initially uploaded so as to give you (the broadcaster) time enough to upload your own MP3 version if you so desire. The MP3 generated is created at the 16kbps bitrate.
