The Episcopal Church has fired, or in its words âdeposed,â 61 priests and deacons in the Central Valley who followed former Bishop John David Schofield when he rebuked the national church and aligned with the Anglican Church of the Southern Cone, a conservative group based in South America.
He and the various priests and deacons objected to the Episcopal Churchâs ordination of gays to the priesthood among other things, "refusing to recognize the authority of the Constitution and Canons of the Episcopal Church and of the Most Reverend Katharine Jefferts Schori, the Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church," as the church puts it.
The clergy who have been fired had six months to deny their abandonment, recant, or renounce their ministry in the Episcopal Church, according to the diocese....
most reverend...What a joke!! The Bible says Holy and Reverend is His Name. So, she is not most reverend, she is not even reverend. She is just a sinner like me and needed or needs Salvation, For salvation is of the Lord Jonah 2:9.I came to faith in Christ in 1987, so I partook of the tree of life on that day. Thank You Jesus. For saving my soul.the most reverend needs to repent of this her wickedness and get saved. In Christ, Bruce Lantto
The only thing is that they should have quit before they were fired, by an apostate church in the first place.
from the article, "refusing to recognize the authority of the Constitution and Canons of the Episcopal Church and of the Most Reverend Katharine Jefferts Schori, the Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church,"
No woman can be head of a Church, and it is apparent their traditions are held in higher regard than the Bible. These "priests" were being apostate by not abandoning an apostate church which has The Doctrine of Apostates.
