At the height of what many called a revival, WORLD asked Bentley to talk about the healings, like Fogle's, and asked for a list of people who had been healed at the services. His associates told me Bentley was out of the country and a list could not be produced. But six weeks and more than a dozen requests later, the ministry eventually sent a list of 13 names. Fogle was No. 12 on the list, along with this note: "Healed through the Outpouring and is back to fishing."
That was on Aug. 8, 2008. There was just one problem. Two weeks earlier, on July 22, Christopher A. Fogle—according to his obituary in the Keokuk (Iowa) Daily Gate City, "left this life . . . after a courageous battle with cancer."
A review of the list nearly one year later reveals that Fogle is not the only person "healed" who is now dead. When I called Phyllis Mills, of Trinity, N.C., on April 22, to hear the testimony of her...

Well, it looks like the word of God is true, as the darkness is indeed coming out. Perhaps allot of these so called "prophets" will and even now still, are bing exposed. I'm not surpried as God is so not mocked!

The best book written on this subject is "Christianity in Crisis". It exposes the theology of all these false prophets: Todd Bentley, Rod Parsley, Cephlo Dollar, Joyce Meyer, Benny Hinn, Kenneth Copeland, and all the other "birds that flock together". You can also read Hebrews 10:34-12:6 and see that we are to suffer for our faith. We live this way because we have a more enduring gift in Heaven. We have no guarrantee of health, wealth or prosperity this side of Heaven. Todd Bently can not guarantee that my next child will not be born with a disease. He can not guarrantee tomorrow I will wake up without a disease. If I die I will punch Bentley in the mouth if he raises me from the dead because I want to be with Jesus not in this world with him. Perhaps this is the problem... we want this world rather than the one Jesus wants to provide for us!!
There is a Pastor on sermonaudio who has a ministry translating Reformed books into Russian. I know some Estonians can read Russian You could email him and ask his advice-especially on books on the charismatic movement that might have been translated into Russian from some source or other or any helps he can suggest if not?
Just a thought
'GraceToRussia Grace to Russia is a ministry of Grace Baptist Church of Fremont California. Founded in the early 1990's, its mission remains the same: To identify, translate, publish, and distribute (without charge) the best Christian books to the pastors and teachers of the former Soviet Union.'
Thanks Wayne. There is a congregation of the Reformed Church in America in Estonia's capital city, but it is a long commute to the capital from where I am. I attend services at one of the local Lutheran churches and this is good enough for me, but I do hope the spiritual situation here gets better. The people here need to be warned about the dangers of the ecumenical and charismatic movements. There is a small group of devout believers here, but it is very small.
I managed to locate the couple I promised but their reply really sums up what you already know by personal experience:
"Thank you for writing. Estonia is a very atheistic country. We and our Latvian brothers have researched the situation there and have not found any Reformed churches.
I wish that I could be of help, but don't have any suggestions."
I pray the Lord will be thy confidence and help-nothing is too hard for HIM.
Hi DJC, In addition to Guy and Ilke Peh, she knows about Bentley as well. When I had a discussion with her a few weeks ago about the Peh meeting and his punching a person, she said there are others who do this. I think she meant Bentley, because a year earlier she showed me the Lakeland Revival website. I didn't think much of it until I heard about Bentley's behavior. Interestingly, I found out a famous early Pentecostal pioneer named Smith Wigglesworth dropkicked a baby back to life(sounds more like primitive CPR instead of a biblical miracle), so this violence is nothing new; it seems to find a home among the pentecostal and charismatic movements.

Perhaps this little article about the farce that was the "Lakeland Revival" would shed some light upon similar "ministries" such as Guy & Ilke Peh with which your girlfriend is so taken up.

Requires magazine subscription to view the article, but we get the idea -- this sort of healing is bogus. I'm only surprised the guy gave verifiable names. That's usually something these guys are very good at avoiding.
