Pope Benedict on the Question of Judaism
In January, when Pope Benedict XVI reversed the 1988 excommunication of four bishops of an ultra-traditionalist Catholic group called the Society of St. Pius X (SSPX), he probably knew it would ignite a firestorm. The church has significant unresolved problems with the society, among them its gross disobedience to the previous Pope. Benedict was determined to try to end a schism with a movement that exhibits a fervent piety he shares and is trying to encourage in Europe, where SSPX is strongest. But almost simultaneous with the Pope's announcement, a Swedish-TV interview surfaced in which SSPX bishop Richard Williamson matter-of-factly denied the existence of the Nazi gas chambers. The ensuing international outcry forced the Vatican to release a generalized condemnation of Holocaust denial--though it didn't rule out Williamson's return as a Roman Catholic bishop. ...

what about the 'cult' you belong to?
Mike Gendron, former RCC'r, speaks out against 'purgatory'...
'Over the centuries, billions of dollars have been paid to RCC priests to obtain relief from imaginary sufferings in purgatory's fire. The Catholic clergy has always taught that the period of suffering in purgatory can be shortened by purchasing indulgences and novenas, buying mass cards and providing gifts of money. When a Catholic dies, money is extracted from mourning loved ones to shorten the deceased's punishment in purgatory...it's no wonder the Catholic religion has become the richest institution in the world. The buying and selling of God's grace has been a VERY lucrative business for the Vatican. The motive for Rome to fabricate the heretical doctrine of purgatory is its powerful effect on controlling people. Ultimately, the enslavement and subjugation of people is the goal of every false religion, and purgatory does exactly that. The concept of a terrifying prison with a purging fire, governed by religious leaders, is a most brilliant invention. This dreadful fear and uncertainty is the most ruthless form of religious bondage and deception.'

I agree with Jim. Furthermore, it does not make sense to call something a cult based on a doctrine in a creed and not found in the New Testament. Judaism is simply another religion which rejects Jesus Christ, but it is not a cult.

But, John, Roman Catholicism is nothing but a cult! It is like the pot calling the kettle black. Should Roman Catholicism really be classified as a Christian religion? -- No. As I've pointed out, Israel and Jews do have a role in the future, The Prophetic Enemies of Israel. There is no role for those who preach The Doctrine of Apostates. It is a given that the Roman Catholic Church is anti-semitic, "Hitler's Pope" Pius XII---Introduction.

Benedict XVI is nothing but a stupid jerk for believing that Judaism is not a Cult. Judaism is a Cult because it denies the Deity Of Jesus and the Holy Trinity.
