Dr Nicolosi will promote the treatment at a two-day conference being held by the conservative Anglican Mainstream group.
He claims to have been helping people to "increase their heterosexual potential" for 25 years and that his "success rate" among men is about two out of three.
He told the BBC: "We have a great deal of evidence showing that these individuals are not harmed and that the therapy does work....

At a two-day Sex and the City Conference near Westminster Abbey, I had an opportunity to hear and see first-hand the work of reparative therapist Dr. Joseph Nicolosi as well as listen to the distinguished psychiatrist and physicist, Dr. Jeffrey Satinover.
VOL: Well, is there a gay gene?
Nicolosi: After 35 years of investigation, they still have not discovered the Gay gene. After 36 years since the APA dropped its diagnosis of Homosexuality and during that period of time, no credible child developmental model has emerged, to explain the homosexual condition without traumatizing the child. In other words, that fact remains that if you traumatize a child in a particular way you will create a homosexual condition.

Homosexuality is a sin. The more effeminate homosexual, I believe may often have a mental health issue and gravitate to the homosexual culture where they feel more accepted, where they then give themselves over to the sin of sodomy.
Whatever way the world trys to spin this, the act of sodomy was, is and will always be a sin and a perversion. Its because of its sinful taboo that people indulge in it, it is an act of rebellion.
Same sex sexual relationships are sinful whether or not they actually practice sinful acts. To lust with your eyes is the same as actually acting out the sin in God's eyes.
All this aside the only way forward for any sinner, for any of us, is to repent and put your trust in Jesus.
This man is courageous coming to Britain, the press here are all for the new sodom. We do not have the evangelical masses that the States have. The churches here are going over to New Sodom, 'higher criticism' has destroyed once solid churches.
Perhaps "cure" is the wrong word to use here with its inherent correlations to disease. Is sin a disease? I think we would all agree it is certainly not a disease with a local human panacea from man's science.
Homosexuality then being in the realm of sin is lust, in some people, which needs to be "controlled" with help!

Yes it can! Like any other sin, by repentance...
"Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;..." Acts 3:19
"The American Psychiatric Association concluded that there was no scientific evidence that homosexuality was a disorder in 1973, and removed it from its list of disorders."
So has nearly everyone else but God and those who are faithful to the judgement of God, as to what is sinful and what is not, as defined within the Scripture.
"If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood [shall be] upon them." Lev. 20:13
While we don't execute those guilty of this sin, it is still an abomination and must be repented of or those who practice it will certainly perish.
"Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,..." 1 Cor. 6:9
