New Mexico Legislature repeals death penalty
The New Mexico Legislature has voted to repeal the death penalty and replace it with a sentence of life in prison without the possibility of parole.

The state Senate voted 24-18 on Friday for the repeal bill, sending it to Gov. Bill Richardson for his signature.

Richardson has opposed repeal in the past but now says he would consider signing it.

John, so how many times before with The Doctrine of Apostates, when something is added to Scripture it is just as bad as taking away from it. Since these bishops support a lying organization, q.v., Hand of God, they are part of Satan's kingdom.
Revelation 2
2 I know thy works, and thy toil and patience, and that thou canst not bear evil men, and didst try them that call themselves apostles, and they are not, and didst find them false;
Revelation 21
7 He that overcometh shall inherit these things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
8 But for the fearful, and unbelieving, and abominable, and murderers, and fornicators, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, their part [shall be] in the lake that burneth with fire and brimstone; which is the second death.
Revelation 22
15 Without are the dogs, and the sorcerers, and the fornicators, and the murderers, and the idolaters, and every one that loveth and maketh a lie.

and by the way, Come out of the Catholic Church.

John Yurich, here you go again. You imply in one breath an accusation of insane and psychotic, then you turn around and say the pope and his church are 'christian'. A denomination that preaches extra biblical doctrine is in no way, shape or form Christian. You cannot have gray areas in your beliefs. You must accept all of God's word as infallible, the only source of truth, and the sole authority, or you are a heretic. The RCC places their church doctrine and tradition over God's word. They preach a different gospel; the Apostle Paul warns all who do such are accursed. Twisting God's word is a very serious sin John Y. That is what the RCC does, as well as many evangelical churches. You are like the wave of the sea, you defend the RCC in one breath, then lash out against it in the next. What a dangerous state you are in. May God be merciful to you.

But John, by what you imply the Popes are insane and psychotic, actually, I can't agree with you there, they are just incredibly sinful and anti-Christian. As this Catholic site being against the death penalty for an infamous killer ---U.S. Bishops Reiterate Stand Against Death Penalty. You don't think they would take this stand if the Popes, q.v., The Pope and the Papacy weren't against the death penalty. It looks like the fairy Princes of the Romish Church are trying back door methods of killing Nebraska's death penalty besides.
I'm never overjoyed to see the death penalty being used, but there are times when it is necessary and it is Biblical, something the Romish Church cares nothing about, q.v., Roman Catholics, Mormons and Jehovah Witnesses.
How can you possibly state that the Pope and the Catholic Church are Anti-Christian when the Pope and the Catholic Church do not preach against Jesus but instead worship Jesus as God?
To Be Continued.

My, John, your enthusiastic support for the death penalty would turn most people away from it. You must have went to New Mexico. While the death penalty should be supported, q.v., Rendering To Caesar: A Biblical Perspective On Government I don't see any reason in reveling in it. Besides almost all "His Unholinesses" have been against the death penalty as a good Catholic you are suppose to be against it,Catholicism and Lordship Salvation.
What do you mean that my enthusiastic support of the death penalty would turn most people away from it? And yes as a matter of fact I have been to New Mexico maybe about 10 times while traveling by automobile to California to visit relatives who resided in California. And the Catholic Church does not state that the death penalty should never be enacted(Which would be insane and psychotic). It states that the death penalty should be enacted rarely(Which is also insane and psychotic). Catholics are permitted to support the implementation of the death penalty against individuals convicted of first degree homicide.

Sounds personal, John Yurich.
I am a firm believer in capital punishment, as well as 'There, but for the grace of God...'

I am all too aware of the potential 'murder in my heart', to be unburdened by the death of any unrepentant sinner.

The other side of your enthusiastic determination, my friend, borders on 'rejoicing in iniquity'. For the sake of your own peace, beware.

The New Mexico State Legislature is insane and psychotic for voting to abolish the death penalty in the State Of New Mexico. It is a waste of the tax payers money to keep individuals convicted of first degree homicide in prison instead of executing them. The death penalty is a deterant to homicide. I wished that the State that I reside in would re-establish the death penalty and start using the electric chair. I could easily throw the switch on the chair and fry those dirty rotten, animalistic, insane murderers. I would turn the juice up full blast and state fry you dirty rotten, animalistic, insane murderer.
