Palin puts ex-Planned Parenthood board member on court
Gov. Sarah Palin on Wednesday picked an Anchorage judge to fill the latest vacancy on the Alaska Supreme Court despite efforts by a conservative Christian group to convince her to do otherwise.

Anchorage Superior Court Judge Morgan Christen, on the bench since 2002, will be just the second woman named to the high court in the 50 years since statehood.

Christen's application included her membership in several charitable groups, including some from her past, but did not mention that she was on the board of Planned Parenthood in the mid-1990s. The organization, which didn't provide abortions in Alaska until 2003, is now on the opposite side of a Palin-supported bill to require girls under 17 to get parental consent for an abortion. ...

Mike, Al Gore, had every possibility of being more competent, than the idiotlogue (yes, that is my usual substitute for ideologue -- though with Bush it is even more appropriate). I have to say it takes a lot of effort to be as incompetent, I think he really worked at being a bad President, I may be wrong, however, it could have been just natural talent for being worse than Warren G. Harding.

But then, God gave the USA what it deserved, pray for much more mercy in the future for our country.

Well, it is apparent that Alaska has too many women in government positions and apparently is going to get one more.
However, judging this women's past associations doesn't means she supports abortions, and would hope she would judge matters on the law rather than sectarian (Catholic) beliefs. It appears all too often are courts are stuffed with incompetent, idiotlogues, instead of competent people, say our last President was an idiotlogue, just shows the damage that can be done, when people pick for purely religious versus picking for a person that has at least a little competence for an office.
Like Al Gore, for instance?
