Creationists to Mark 'Darwin Day' with Anti-Evolution Conference
While hundreds of celebrations worldwide will be marking the 200th anniversary of Charles Darwin's birth beginning in February, one creationist ministry will be holding conferences to refute the famed scientist's theory of evolution.
Answers in Genesis, which runs the Creation Museum near Cincinnati, Ky., will host two free national conferences to help Christians defend their faith against a theory that the ministry sees as running counter to Scripture.
The two conferences, dubbed "Answers for Darwin," will take place at two churches - one held on the West Coast and one on the East Coast - to provide training and education for Christians regarding evolution and creation....
Dr. Russell Humphreys will be at Wyldewood Baptist Church, 3030 Witzel AV, to help us celebrate Charles Darwinâs 200th birthday. Meetings will be held nightly at 6:00 PM Saturday and Sunday (Feb 7 & 8). He will also be speaking at our Sunday morning services, 9:30 AM and 10:45 AM.
Dr. Humphreys has taken on the evolutionists head-to-head with predictions on the magnetic fields of four planets, plus Earth and the moon. Dr. Humphreys believes the Bible chronology of a 6,000 year old solar system and uses that to make his predictions on the magnetic decay rates. Cosmic evolutionists believe the solar system is several billion years old. Because of that vast disparity, the predictions differ by orders of magnitude. Dr. Humphreys has been on-the-money each time, as space probes flying near those planets keep confirming.
Dr. Humphreys was part of the ICR/CRS R.A.T.E. team that showed that many factors can accelerate nuclear decay and make radiocarbon dates appear much older than they actually are.
Dr. Humphreys also originated the âWhite Hole Time Dilationâ cosmology of how starlight could travel great stellar distances in less than 6,000 years. He uses Einsteinâs general relativity principles and other principles well-established in physics.
