What children want most is a ban on divorce, says poll
Marital splits were also named the second-worst thing in the world in the survey of under-10s, behind being fat.

The annual survey of 1,600 youngsters found X Factor judge Simon Cowell was more famous than God or Her Majesty the Queen and that the very best things in the world are 'good looks'.

Asked what rules they would make if they were king or queen of the world, most children replied they would ban divorce – the first time it has come at the top of the list.

It is my opinion that children would not only desire for their parents to remain happily married, but to actually BE MARRIED in accordance with the will of God, thus preventing or removing the "third party, "Father" state from marriage interests.

While God does indeed regulate divorce and slavery He never sanctions either. Those things come from man's corruption and His regulations provide relief from the worst abuses of them.

If "Caesar" still be one's king, would that individual still be a slave to sin?

Thanks Jimmy for agreeing that slavery still exists in the land called America.

By slavery,
Webster's 1913 Dictionary wrote:
The condition of a slave; the state of entire subjection of one person to the will of another.
Disguise thyself as thou wilt, still, slavery, said I, still thou art a bitter draught! Sterne.
I wish, from my soul, that the legislature of this state [Virginia] could see the policy of a gradual abolition of slavery. It might prevent much future mischief. Washington.
One is always a slave to something, though hopefully, No longer Slaves to Sin.

Antebellum slavery was not comparable to the Israelite sort. For one thing, they were not allowed to become so by kidnapping, which was a capital offense in Scripture. And proving that blacks somehow inherited the status of the Canaanites requires leaps of reasoning comparable to that used to defend the doctrine of Apostolic Succession. It is a desperate, utter fallacy. Reconstructionists who sell this nonsense (e.g. Doug Wilson, Steve Wilson, Doug Phillips) deserve the abuse heaped on them by alert civil rights activists.

I commend the Narrative of Frederick Douglass to those who think the old South was a "Christian" paradise. Douglass noted (with regret) that professed Christians were the cruelest masters. And imagine being a slave with no hope of liberty for yourself or children - very unlike transported British convict laborers, or Israelites with the Jubilee year.

CMT, slavery did get banned in Western countries, though not muslim ones, Slavery in Islam. Divorce should not be made an easy option, and your right as far as God is concerned it is a case of Divorce on Trial.
