Hundreds of Complaints Force Zoo to Break Ties with Creation Museum
A high volume of complaints have forced the Cincinnati Zoo to pull out of a special business partnership with the Creation Museum in nearby Petersburg, Ky., after running for less than three days.
According to the Creation Museum’s founder, Ken Ham, however, the zoo received hundreds of complaints, many of which were opposed to the faith and ideas that the museum presents.
“It’s a pity that intolerant people have pushed for our expulsion simply because of our Christian faith,” Ham said, expressing disappointment in the zoo’s decision but also understanding of its perspective....
I loved your comment about John Wesley, Yes it is true that we have become so sensitive to what the world thinks about Bible Believers that we [I] am afraid to speak out in defense of the Bible and every other thing that God has commanded us to do. We are not to hide our light under a bushel, but put it on a candlestick. To let the world browbeat us into submission is something that I personally am guilty. Look what has happened to the country that I love and that my father went to war over, the freedom of putting our the truth and nothing but the truth. My father who got saved in the last days of his life is looking down from heaven on me and saying son, What is wrong with you? Stand up and be a man and defend your faith,I'll see you in heaven. Also, I willsay that I am not an evangelical, I am a Bible believers[King james only in English] Thanl You
John Wesley was bothered that stones and sticks had not assailed him recently(3 whole days!). He dismounted his horse, knelt in prayer, earnesly said "Lord, have I become so worldly that no one has cursed me or chased me? Have I become a carnal man, and am so worldly that I'm not worth bothering?"
Just then, a farmer saw him kneeling, and , as he hated Wesley for his message, threw a brick , which grazed Wesley's nose...
Wesley praised God, saying " I Thank Thee LORD that Thou hast confirmed Thy favour toward Thy servant."
PRAISE GOD that Ken Ham's, and AIG's worthy of this level of persecution by the ungodly wordly DISeducation system.
The Zoo is affiliated with public schools & therefore probably appeals to evolution in its materials & presentations. If so, then the Creation Museum was fostering a business partnership with an ideological enemy.
"“It’s a pity that intolerant people have pushed for our expulsion simply because of our Christian faith,” Ham said..."
I see the battle is in full swing.
Mat 5:11 "Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. 12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you. 13 Ye are the salt of the earth:"
