Russian analyst predicts decline and breakup of U.S.
MOSCOW, November 24 (RIA Novosti) - A leading Russian political analyst has said the economic turmoil in the United States has confirmed his long-held view that the country is heading for collapse, and will divide into separate parts.
Professor Igor Panarin said in an interview with the respected daily Izvestia published on Monday: "The dollar is not secured by anything. The country's foreign debt has grown like an avalanche, even though in the early 1980s there was no debt. By 1998, when I first made my prediction, it had exceeded $2 trillion. Now it is more than 11 trillion. This is a pyramid that can only collapse."
The paper said Panarin's dire predictions for the U.S. economy, initially made at an international conference in Australia 10 years ago at a time when the economy appeared strong, have been given more credence by this year's events.

Oh yeah. The computer game was called "Shattered Union".
Why the surprise, Neil? Does God Have a Future for Israel?: A Study of Romans 11. Romans 11 1. I say then, Did God cast off his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. 2 God did not cast off his people which he foreknew. Or know ye not what the scripture saith of Elijah? how he pleadeth with God against Israel: 3 Lord, they have killed thy prophets, they have digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life. 4 But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have left for myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to Baal. 5 Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.
It appears we don't agree on Eschatology, but then I think we agreed to disagree on that?
Eventual Balkinization of the USA wouldn't suprise me a bit, considering all the emphasis on tolerance, diversity, and institutionalized shame directed toward traditional American culture these days--mostly by its OWN people, trying to out-righteous each other while maintaining and puffing-up their own self-esteems (and it's not just the "liberals" that are doing this).
Poor leadership and a discomfited, polarized population are pretty compelling evidences of God's judgement on our current society, I think.

Should the Russian prof's predictions come true, he'd better watch out: Canada might annex the adjacent upper States. Thus enriched, it can build a navy sufficient to keep the Russkies out of the navigable Arctic, which will be thick with tropical fish.
Socialist Mexico [see the 1917 Constitution] could recapture the Southwest, & many Hispanics here will therefore flee to Greater Canada to escape the Castilian ruling class again. Then Canada will have to become trilingual.
""When asked who would replace the U.S. in regulating world markets, he said: "Two countries could assume this role: China, with its vast reserves, and Russia, which could play the role of a regulator in Eurasia.""
Now comrade I wonder why you picked the two communist nations to take over???
Perhaps this is a political "ployski" to cheer up the Russian people, who have been suffering from a failed administration for some years now!!!
This "recession(?)" is good propaganda for the communist fraternity.
All empires in the passed have either disintegrated or fallen on hard times. This like saying the sun will rise or set. However the particulars for any country is like predicting the weather. Anyway, no country or grouping has such an exact prediction of what will happen to it, except for Israel, What Will Become of Israel?.

So this Russian views collapse in geographic terms. "Influence from Canada" - ROFL!

"five of the POORER central states with their LARGE Native American populations" -- Hahaha!
This Russian knucklehead "professor" needs a few lessons in U.S. demographics!
As a percentage of their total state populations, native Americans make up .67% of Colorado .83% of Kansas .79% of Nebraska .42% of Missouri .62% of Arkansas .27% of Iowa .20% of Kentucky .24% of Tennessee .15% of Illinois .22% of Indiana
Only Oklahoma @ 7.71% of it's total population can be considered as a central state having a relatively "LARGE" native American population.
Maybe there are other "central states" I just don't know about!
