LONDON — The Church of England has its own ecclesiastical courts. British Jews have had their own “beth din” courts for more than a century.
But ever since the archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Rev. Rowan Williams, called in February for aspects of Islamic Shariah to be embraced alongside the traditional legal system, the government has been grappling with a public furor over the issue, assuaging critics while trying to reassure a wary and at times disaffected Muslim population that its traditions have a place in British society.
Boxed between the two, the government has taken a stance both cautious and confusing, a sign of how volatile almost any discussion of the role of Britain’s nearly two million Muslims can become....
Muslims are finding a few hurdles in taking over Britain these days. One sticking point is that there are still some actual real Christians, not many, who are not convinced by the philosophy of Islam - Yet!!
Another small hurdle is that they seem to think that their law is better than Sharia. However this is being overcome with the help of atheist politicians, magistrates and liberal religion leaders like Rowan Williams.
The end result is inevitable and mosques are being raised all over this country, so the muslimisation of Britain is well under way and progressing speedily.

When we look at the radioactive ruins of Iraq and the millions dead, the poppyfields of Afghanistan once again busy producing "product" for our military planes to cart off to the U.S. for marketing to the suckers who swallow the bait (and end up free labor in the private prisons that are big business in America), when we look at the Palestinians living in hovels and refugee camps while racist thugs spread out in their stolen land, when we look at Beirut and other bombed out cities in the mideast, contemplate the peaceful country of Iran that has been under seige by the American CIA for over half a century --
I would not want to begin to contemplate Islamic justice.

If one goes off topic, the steering committee quickly redirects the talk traffic to the subject of the thread. Is it just me? Is someone going to say, "Go elsewhere if you want to chat. These are serious threads for the serious-minded, scholarly, theologian types." Well, maybe it is just me, but I think the comment section would be much more interesting if people were more transparent. That is a distinquishing characteristic of a Christian - transparency - no need to hide. Our lives should be a testimony of what God has done to make us a fragrant aroma of His Grace. Well, I'm outta here before the thought patrol tells me I'm violating some unspoken, but understood rule of the Thread - "Stay on subject."
Thanks, passingby.
No, it's not just you. Some just have more difficulty than others in recognizing the interconnectedness of some topics. Some just want to control the direction of the discussion. I don't think it's meant to cause offense. Besides, they have free will. Oops, maybe I shouldn't have said that. Off topic. Islamic justice. There.

What Britain, its politicians and bureaucrats are really grappling with is bending over backwords for every PC+Liberal repudiation of authority and decent society they can. And this to embrace every moral deviation, anti-Christian bias and perverted practice iniquity can find. Satan is in charge in Britain.
Concurrent british governments have made a whip for their own back by allowing rampant immigration & in spite of jack straws assurances I`ve no doubt, like his name suggests, they are built of straw.NO symapthy from me.JACK.
