Pro-choice Obama repels evangelicals
Abortion is the key issue keeping many social conservatives and religious voters - especially young ones - from supporting pro-choice Democrat Barack Obama for president, leaving most of them to throw their support to his pro-life Republican opponent, John McCain.

A Greenberg Quinlan Rosner poll of voter attitudes, released last week, showed that two-thirds of Catholics and white evangelical Protestants of all ages oppose funding for abortions for poor women overseas. Seventy percent of all evangelicals - with slightly larger majorities among those younger than 30 - say abortion should be illegal in most or all cases. ...

Everything MUST be kept within the context and realm of scripture concerning sin; if a professing believer commits adultery, or any sin for that matter, and does not repent, they will be held accountable. Luke 13:3,"But, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish".
"Therefore, I will judge you, O house of Israel, everyone according to his ways, saith the Lord God. Repent, and turn from all your transgressions, so iniquity shall not be your ruin." Ezekiel 18:30
If anyone who has committed adultery doesn't repent, they stand guilty according to His word, 'so iniquity shall not be your RUIN'.

No, John, that does not prove me wrong. Just because a church has sermons on this website does not make it a correct church. A church is correct according to the Bible's declaration not by presence on a website. If that is true, I would press SA to banish such an immoral church from this website. Again, present the scriptures to justify what McCain and Reagan have done. Present a case where Jesus or his Apostles say a man may leave his wife for another woman he falls in love with. It simply cannot be found. I haven't seen it yet in all my reading of the New Testament. Yep, the best thing McCain could do would be to repent and live single or return to his wife.
All you have to do is look up North Phoenix Baptist Church website and it states what there Statement Of Faith is and you will find out that North Phoenix Baptist Church is not an apostate Baptist Church. Also you will find out on North Phoenix Baptist Church website that it has videos of sermons that North Phoenix Baptist Church has on this website. Do you believe because Reagan did not repent before he passed away of divorcing his first wife that he is in Hell?

Rogerant, I do not wish to get into a 3 day long debate with you. However, I will say this...
I simply stated if this man is guilty of adultery and has not repented, his sin will be counted against him. Christ himself states, 'unless you repent, you will perish'. We must turn from sin, and by His power, overcome.

Matthew 5:27 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery: But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

There are always those who are fixated on the apparent sins of others and are forever testing their apparent fruits of repentance.

Havn't we all commited adultery? By your judgement aren't we all condemned? The Pharisees were always judging one's salvation by one's fruit, not by their profession of faith. How about you?

Well you are wrong about North Phoenix Baptist Church where McCain attends church in Phoenix, Arizona being an apostate Baptist Church because on the web site for North Phoenix Baptist Church it has video of sermons that are available on Sermon Audio(This web site). I suppose you think that because Reagan divorced the first wife and got married to the second wife and he did not repent before he passed away of divorcing the first wife that Reagan is in Hell?

enough already:And what happens if McCain repents and believes in the Gospel Of Jesus? What is he supposed to do then? Divorce his current wife and go back to his first wife?

John Y. - IF McCain is the one who committed adultery against his former wife, then in God's eyes and by the authority of the word of God, he is guilty of adultery and condemned, unless he repents and believes in the gospel. If he is guilty, his former wife has the right to remarry without being charged with adultery according to God's word, but he certainly does not. It doesn't matter what a Baptist preacher thinks, the word of God is the sole and final authority, regardless of denomination beliefs, opinions, or political pull and power.

Jessica is correct about not lowest of men sometimes being put over a nation, e.g.,Obama's Christian Creds Vs. Abortion and Infanticide and Barack Obama and Israel, shows that we will have even more trouble in the future, if we wish to have for more years of Jimmy Carter with the The New Jimmy Carter.

We should never forget that Israel is not the only nation that has been punished by God, and the USA can suffer even more in the near future because,

Jeremiah 14
7 Though our iniquities testify against us, work thou for thy name's sake, O Jehovah; for our backslidings are many; we have sinned against thee.
Psalms 115
1. Not unto us, O Jehovah, not unto us, But unto thy name give glory, For thy lovingkindness, and for thy truth's sake.

As a nation, we still may be treated kindly by our Savior -- and I mean Christ and not Obama

Mike, from what I have read, I thought she was pentecostal. Then maybe she belongs to some kind of Bible church. Reports I have seen say she was born Roman Catholic, saved in Assembly of God(although the AG churches I have been to don't know much of scriptural repentance, so she may not really be saved). Personally, I don't know who or what she is. And she attends some kind of Bible church elsewhere(exactly what kind of Bible church...can be anything from Reformed to Fundamentalist...to charismatic) Perhaps she can make a statement as to exactly what she is...but that may hurt her reputation.

Faithful friend, I was once RC, then nothing, then Baptist, Wesleyan, and now a part of a "Bible Church." Would that be confusion, or growth?

Yes, that's correct Jessica, but God hasn't picked Obama yet, when he does then , Rendering To Caesar: A Biblical Perspective On Government. I wouldn't be surprised if God did pick Obama as punishment for the USA, and of course that would mean that Obama's Christian Creds Vs. Abortion and Infanticide and Barack Obama and Israel will start having an effect. Nathan, you have made some valid truth filled points. The candidates from both parties are lost sinners. But one claims 'conservative values', which means nothing. The one in office now claimed the same thing. It proves that just because someone talks a good talk doesn't mean their heart agrees. The religious right have tried to control a cursed and fallen world through a political party instead of doing what we are called to do...preach the gospel! Only the power of God's word will change a homosexual, a prostitute, a sexually immoral man or woman, a liar, a cheat, a murderer, etc. You can't put laws on the books and expect a wicked sinner to abide by them; by screaming and boycotting, all you are doing is driving away the lost sinner. They want no part of your 'religion'. Stick to the word of God, preach the gospel, proclaim the truth, and put your trust solely in Christ, not in a political party. No matter what happens, Gods' will WILL be done; isn't that what we are to pray for? "Even so, come Lord Jesus"

McCain had a sexual relation with a woman (Cindy McCain) while he was already in a legitmate marriage. He subsequently sought and obtained a divorce (something not ordained of God who hates divorce) from his wife to marry Mrs. McCain.

Anyone who caters to the Church of Rome-for votes or whatever-is not a friend of Christ.
