As many as 10,000 delegates and guests at the National Baptist Convention in Cincinnati got to hear and see Michelle Obama talk about her husband, Illinois Senator Barack Obama, and his race for president.
Just before 5pm Wednesday, Michelle Obama, took to the stage in huge, third-floor ballroom at the Duke Energy Center.
While she addressed as many as 6,000 people there, several thousand more watched her address via closed circuit television in the convention center's large Hall C.
It is difficult to find a church that is *not* a disgrace & embarrassment. Rigorous thinking is not prized, nor are pastors held accountable for either doctrine or behavior. Just as with leftist college profs, one is expected to swallow whole everything the bully behind the pulpit says. I have only encountered a handful of churches in which members are expected to publicly question or critique the sermon. If the disciples were allowed to question their Lord & Master on what He taught, then surely fallible pastors ought to be questioned.
Any Baptists here feeling a little digraced and embarassed by this act of the National Baptist Convention? I know the NBC does not speak for all Baptists, but still.
Actually, I think the Baptists would listen to any pagan, they have proven where they are spiritually the last several years--and it is not growing the the Lordship of Jesus Christ!

Mrs Obama carries herself with dignity, class, and poise even when she is being attacked for no apparent reason. She is witty, very intelligent, seemingly a great wife and Mother.
Mr. Obama has many gifts, especially the ability to bring people together in the midst of confusion like the USA have right now. He is also very smart, intelligent, and knows his stuff.

However, I have a much better perspective. Why hasn't Mr. McCain closed the deal yet? If he is the "American hero" and the experience one why hasn't America rallied around him? Why did it take him choosing an inexperienced woman just to get people to give him some attention?
And of course, Ms. Palin's popularity in the USA has fallen and will continue to fall. Yes, why hasn't the "American Hero" hasn't close the deal? How did he allow a first-term Senator to lead him in all of your polls?
