Joel Osteen Says Wife Did Not Assault Flight Attendant
HOUSTON (AP) - Renowned pastor Joel Osteen told jurors Friday that his wife never assaulted a flight attendant over a small spill on her airplane seat. Osteen was called as a witness Friday in the civil trial of a lawsuit filed by Continental Airlines flight attendant Sharon Brown, who has accused Victoria Osteen of assaulting her before the start of a 2005 flight to Vail, Colo.
During nearly two hours of testimony, Joel Osteen, who was on the same flight, said the incident was "an unfortunate misunderstanding" stemming from his wife's requests for flight attendants to clean up a spill on the armrest of her first-class seat.
"We would never disrespect authority or disrespect (Brown). There's no way in the world" Victoria Osteen assaulted Brown, said Joel Osteen, who was called to the witness stand by Brown's attorney, Reginald McKamie....
Ah, gentlemen very true, I do like the comments from a leading Southern Baptist, Albert, Mohler, Does God Want Us to Be Rich? TIME Looks at Prosperity Theology. But I won't entirely ignore our friends of the Reformed/Covenant persuasion. Apparently, there is one in Houston, whose is doing an excellent job of pointing out the falsehoods of the Olsteens, this short little video about Victoria Osteen and her bad behavior on the airplane, is almost funny. However, there is really nothing amusing about those who preach a false gospel.

After I heard Joel Osteen on Larry King live on 20 June 2005, it was clear that there is no light shining in his life for JESUS CHRIST and His Truth but that Joel is surrounded with the darkness of the lust of the eye, the lust of the flesh and the pride of life.

God's judgement upon us, sinful man, is always righteous. We need to pray for Joel and others like him as well as for all those under his false teachings to come out of the deception they are in. Bring them before God in prayer continually that they will escape the snare of the devil that has taken them captive to do his will.
Mr. Handson, the Osteens fellow Christians? I have already mentioned the program, Taking the Measure of Joel Osteen (The Albert Mohler Radio Program), but just take his wife alone, which you really can't do with a married couple, but I just heard on the radio today, she is considered a co-pastor! This is not Christian! I would suggest you read, Women Preachers or listen to, How Women Are to Learn. These people are NOT Christians.
As Jim says,the assault on truth is worse- In a June 20th 2005, interview on the international cable television program Larry King Live, the pastor of one of America’s largest churches said that he does not know who goes to heaven or who goes to hell. When asked if atheists go to heaven, Joel Osteen of Lakewood Church in Houston, Texas, replied, “I’m going to let God be the judge of who goes to heaven and hell” (Charismanow.com, June 30). When asked where Jews or Muslims go if they don’t accept Jesus Christ, Osteen replied, “You know, I’m very careful about saying who would and wouldn’t go to heaven; I don’t know.” In a letter posted to his web site, Osteen later apologized for being “unclear on the very thing in which I have dedicated my life.” He said: “In my desire not to alienate the people that Jesus came to save, I did not clearly communicate the convictions that I hold so precious.” In fact, in his statements on Larry King Live Osteen was indeed communicating the core conviction of his church-growth philosophy, which is to preach “positive truth.” He has not drawn a crowd of tens of thousands by preaching clearly on eternal Hell as the Lord Jesus Christ did, and even in his “apology” Osteen did not plainly state that those outside of Christ go to an eternal fiery Hell.
Perhaps, Victoria Osteen did not assault the flight attendant, she and her husband are attacking God all the time however,
