Devout Heisman winner declines spot in 'Playboy' lineup
One year after winning college football's highest honor, University of Florida star Tim Tebow was pulled from consideration for Playboy's pre-season All-American team because the magazine conflicts with his Christian beliefs, a school official confirmed.

Tebow, who last year became the first sophomore to win the Heisman Trophy, comes from a family of missionaries and is a devout Baptist. Assistant Sports Information Director Zack Higbee said he chose not to nominate his quarterback for the Playboy spread based on what he knew about Tebow's spirituality.

"I've been working with Tim since his first day here and I know his priorities and his family," Higbee said. "He has that trust in me to make the decision." ...

Why, John, I don't remember what I said all that about Notre Dame U., but thanks what you said I said was excellent! Being a part of an apostate system will create an apostate institution! Of course, your name calling shows that you are not a Christian --

Just a little bit of heresy is a good thing, eh? I have to thank you again for giving me an opportunity to point out for those who can learn, that The Doctrine of Apostates, in any amount corrupts completely.

John Y says the RCC is only 'partly apostate'. What a mixed and confused statement that is! FYI, either one follows Jesus Christ wholeheartedly, reading and obeying His word as the final and only authority, or one doesn't. There is no middle ground John.
Another thing, EVERYTHING about this present world is tainted, corrupt, and vile. That includes our educational institutions, corporations, government, businesses, our form of entertainment, etc. Only those God has saved, by His grace, are made righteous in Christ. To rail against Jim and call him 'sick and demented' certainly is NOT evidence of a heart that loves Christ, or a mind that has been renewed by the reading of the word. You know what Jesus said about bad fruit, it signifies a bad tree. May the Lord be merciful to you John Y.

You really are sick and demented you know that? What is wrong with you anyway? Why are you referring to Notre Dame University as an apostate university? Just because the RCC has some unscriptural doctrines does not make the RCC entirely apostate. It is only partly apostate.

It is great that this and other athletes have rejected the Playboy "honor" through the years, what is said is when you get at the bottom of the article, only the apostate church's Notre Dame has an institutional policy not to have its players appear in Playboy, while there are other institutions that call themselves Christian and don't make at least their feelings known they are against as an institution.
