WASHINGTON -- The Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals today ruled that the city council of Fredericksburg, Virginia had proper authority to require "non-sectarian" prayer content and exclude council-member Rev. Hashmel Turner from the prayer rotation because he prayed "in Jesus' name."
Former Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor, writing the decision, said: "The restriction that prayers be nonsectarian in nature is designed to make the prayers accessible to people who come from a variety of backgrounds, not to exclude or disparage a particular faith."
Ironically, she admitted Turner was excluded from participating solely because of the Christian content of his prayer....
I am a born again Christian and KNOW satan uses women and sodimites to destroy Christians. They can be their own Gods. So am I suprized to hear a woman judge made this decision,..........NO. Pray for these lost souls, amen!

I completely agree with this comment!!
I am listening to "The New World Order Rockefellers, Rothchilds, DuPonts, Bundy, Collins & Kennedy Synagogue of Satan'" by Larry Phillips.
Hmm....so they want to push salvation farther from them. Without the name of Jesus and the blood he poured out, there is no forgiveness. I guess they prefer to populate the furnace of eternal fire after they die.

No better at all. But they are the only ones who have been told, in effect, that they are incapable of learning English. If I were Hispanic, I'd be furious at the superior attitude of of the bilingualism promoters.
The whole problem in a nut shell is this -- The system is broken !!!
There is great wickedness that lurks in the hearts of men and these are those in whom "We" have placed "Our" trust ... men who lead with much deceit and tomfoolery ... they will stop at nothing to see "Us" shifted from THE FERM FOUNDATION THAT WAS LAID BY "Our" FOUNDING FATHERS...
The real question is -- HOW MUCH MORE WILL "We" TAKE OF THIS OUT OF CONTROL, HELLISHLY TYRANNICAL RULE ???
If "We The People" allow this madness to continue, a minute few will triumph over the many and the America so many have given life and limb for will dwindle into obscurity !!!
There are those who are attempting to take America into the realm of the "Globalist View" ... -- and to be perfectly honest I think Obama is a man of such a mind !!! -- There are far too many willing to trade off "Our" Sovereignty !!! _______
I talked with a man the other day and mentioned what Obama said, "Americans needing to teach their children Spanish". He said "Americans should learn Spanish ... we are the majority now". WHAT ???
People that come to America should assimilate into "Our" culture - ENGLISH IS "Our" LANGUAGE !!!
Are Hispanics better than any other group that has assimilated ???
Help me out here, as I am confused. Are you telling me that Sandra Day O'Connor retired from the Supreme Court to serve on a Federal Appeals Court? That's like retiring from the Army as a General to serve in the Army as a Captain. What gives? I thought she was spending her retirement years as Chancellor of the College of William and Mary, and as a trustee of the National Constitution Center in Philly.

so...it seems the prayers which were already border line useless (God does not hear the prayers of the unrepentant) are now completely useless (no one comes to the Father except through the Son). What is the point of the praying and who or what are the people praying to. I guess so long as the prayer is politically correct and inoffensive then it's state approved and Gots ta be good!!
