Tony Snow, Former White House Press Secretary and FOX News Anchor, Dies at 53
Tony Snow, the former White House press secretary and conservative pundit who bedeviled the press corps and charmed millions as a FOX News television and radio host, died after a long bout with cancer. He was 53.
A syndicated columnist, editor, TV anchor, radio show host and musician, Snow worked in nearly every medium in a career that spanned more than 30 years.
"Laura and I are deeply saddened by the death of our dear friend, Tony Snow," President Bush said in a statement. "The Snow family has lost a beloved husband and father. And America has lost a devoted public servant and a man of character."
Snow died at 2 a.m. Saturday at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C....
The comments I get and some that have gotten, I'm sorry I missed. John, if you ever bother to check into SermonAudio, I hope you get to see this. Anyone who repents, truly repents, is saved (You could bring up special cases like Adolph Hitler, but I don't know if he ever repented, ever could repent, and if he actually did. What God would do about him? I'm glad I'm not God if such a situation arose.) I know that The Lord Desires Repentance for All. I never heard that you repented from being the Romish Church or by your endorsing of it by your presence has now stopped? A truly repentant person can be saved. I hope you have done that. Come out of the Catholic Church.
Jim Lincoln wrote: Luke 12 16 And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully: 17 and he reasoned within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have not where to bestow my fruits? 18 And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my grain and my goods. 19 And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, be merry. 20 But God said unto him, Thou foolish one, this night is thy soul required of thee; and the things which thou hast prepared, whose shall they be? 21 So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God. Tony Snow had time to decide where to lay up his treasure, let's hope that he made the right decision.
I don't know if you were cognizant of the fact that Snow was Catholic? But seeing as you are so Anti-Catholic I am surprised that you do not think that Snow is in Hell instead of Heaven. Your comments in the past have been that you believe that no Catholic will go to Heaven even if they receive Jesus as their Savior on their death bed because they did not leave the Catholic Church before they passed away.
