A mother and father who have been homeschooling their children each have been ordered by a German judge to serve three-month prison terms after a prosecutor said he was unhappy with fines the family paid and he wanted the parents jailed.
The sentences for Juergen and Rosemarie Dudek were announced in Germany's equivalent of a district court today in the state of Hesse, according to a staff attorney for the Home School Legal Defense Association. The group, the premier homeschooling advocacy organization in the world, has been monitoring and helping in the Dudeks' case since before a federal prosecutor announced his intention more than a year ago to see the parents behind bars.
"Words escape me, it's unconscionable, incredible, shocking," HSLDA staff attorney Mike Donnelly told WND after he got word of the sentence. "They'll appeal of course."...
So now they think the children will benefit with having both parents in jail and no schooling whatsoever nor a proper caregiver. Satan prances around like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. The Bible is true evil men shall wax worse and worse. I will pray for this family.
The mentality of the socialist never changes. It may not be National Socialists today (Nazi)but the same spirit prevails. The elite know best and will use the state's muscle to enforce its rule. We in America do not appreciate the reality that most nations don't even begin to have the freedoms or regress process that we have. We should start paying attention.

God put the parents over the children not some godless government. Its a shame when criminals can go free while good people suffer but its always been that way.
A good point, Minnow, we did have some people from Germany check in here during the past, and pointed out if these Christians got together and started a private school, they wouldn't have difficulty with the government. I suppose those in Britain may be faced with the same problems, because if you let Christians home-school, you are going to have to let Muslims do it also. This is the problem with having a heterogeneous--but--hostile population base. "Don't judge the Muslims that you know by Islam and don't judge Islam by the Muslims that you know."
