Pope urges all Christians to 'hold fast' to scripture
NEW YORK — Pope Benedict XVI met with leaders of other Christian faiths on Friday evening, telling them that only by "holding fast" to sound doctrinal teaching can they confront secular ideology and the individualism that "undermines or even rejects transcendent truth."

More than 200 representatives of Eastern Orthodox and Protestant churches met with the pope for an ecumenical prayer service at St. Joseph's Church, a small Roman Catholic parish settled by German immigrants in the Yorkville neighborhood of the upper East Side, where Mass is still said in German once a month. ...

Whenever someone quotes Romans tell them that Paul, the
greatest student of the greatest teacher Gamliel, would never have taken out of context the passage
he cited when he said "all have sinned". Then tell them that *they* are taking it out of context and
turn them to the Old Testament passage this comes from Psalm 14.

1The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.
2The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God.
3They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is *******none that doeth good, no, not one ************.
4Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge? *************who eat up my people as they eat bread*********, and call not upon the LORD.
5There were they in great fear: for God is in the generation of the righteous.
6Ye have shamed the counsel of the poor, because the LORD is his refuge.
7Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! when the LORD bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.

YOU SEE. THERE'S TWO GROUPS. THE "ALL" IN ROMANS REFERS TO JUST ONE GROUP. The two groups include one group that consists

The Papists and the Muslims Agree
here let me Show you what they believe:
841 The Roman Catholic Church's relationship with the Muslims. "The plan of salvation also includes those who acknowledge the Creator, in the first place amongst whom are the Muslims; these profess to hold the faith of Abraham, and together with us ( Roman Catholics) they adore the one, merciful God, mankind's judge on the last day."
1. Muslims do not worship the Creator they worship Allah. Jesus Christ is the Creator, in fact Joh 1:3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. So in order to adore the creator, one would have to adore Jesus Christ AS the CREATOR. The Muslims do not in any fashion worship Jesus Christ, therefor they do NOT worship, Adore or have anything to do with The REAL GOD.Joh 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. 2Jn 1:9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.
OK ThePOPE's Catechism states that YOU adore the Muslim god along with the muslims, the Muslims deny Christ.
All those who Adore with them do Also

It's a Shame, Yea, A SIN; That The Anti-Christ of The Satanic Roman "Catholic" Cult of Popish "Jesuitic" Vaticanism (i.e. Roman-"Catholicism") has "Urge[d] All Christians to 'Hold Fast' to scripture"--but NOT Hold Fast To THE AUTHORIZED HOLY BIBLE-SCRIPTURE(S) !

BECAUSE THE HISTORIC 66 BOOKS OF THE AUTHORIZED HOLY BIBLE-SCRIPTURE(S) WILL EXPOSE THE "POPE" OF ROME FOR WHO HE REALLY IS:

1. THE ANTI-CHRIST !

2. THAT MAN OF SIN !

3. THE SON OF PERDITION !

4. WHO OPPOSES & EXALTS HIMSELF ABOVE ALL THAT IS CALLED GOD (AS IN CALLING HIMSELF & HAVING OTHERS CALL HIM "HOLY FATHER"--WHICH IS A NAME, APPELATION & TITLE GIVEN ONLY TO ALMIGHTY GOD HIMSELF IN THE AUTHORIZED HOLY BIBLE-SCRIPTURE(S) !

5. WHO OPPOSES & EXALTS HIMSELF ABOVE ALL THAT IS WORSHIPPED (AS HE HAS & WILL RECEIVE WORLD-WIDE WORSHIP IN THE FUTURE) !

6. SO THAT HE, AS GOD, SITTETH IN THE TEMPLE OF GOD, SHEWING HIMSELF THAT HE IS GOD (AS HE'S ATTEMPTED TO DO IN THE PAST INSIDE WORLDWIDE-UNIVERSAL CHRISTENDOM & WILL ATTEMPT TO DO IN THE FUTURE: BY SITTING IN THE RE-BUILT HEBREW-JEWISH TEMPLE IN JERUSALEM--AND PROCLAIM HIMSELF ALMIGHTY GOD--AND CAUSE, UNDER PAIN OF DEATH, TO BE WORSHIPPED BY EVERY MAN, WOMAN & CHILD ON PLANET EARTH. HE'LL ETERNALLY BURN IN THE LAKE FIRE FOR THIS BLASPHEMY OF BLASPHEMIES) !

You didn't give the whole quote of CCC 841 and NO!!! Allah is a false god, after all this Allah your beloved JPII claims Catholics and Muslims worship has no son and is quite the false god of a murderous demon possessed pediphile, something much more in keeping with things such as the inquistion, apparitions, and the sexual scandals of your priests, GG, than with anything to do with Biblical Christianity or what you seem to mock as Fundis.

But hey you might understand this if you heeded the Words of Christ.

Dear brethren,

If the Pope says to hold fast to Scripture, then let us take to the world that greatest translation that caused the Roman Catholic Church to repent for her sins and evil Inquisition.

http://www.genevabible.org/Geneva.html

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geneva_Bible

The marginal notes in the Geneva Bible (published 1560) were a major building block of the first reformation (1560-1600)...Christ Jesus being the Chief Cornerstone of the reformation.

"The first Bible printed in Scotland was a Geneva Bible in 1579[2]. In fact, the involvement of Knox and Calvin in the creation of the Geneva Bible made it especially appealing in Scotland, where a law was passed in 1579 requiring every household of sufficient means to buy a copy[3]."

The Roman Catholic Church was dealt a great blow to her murderous rampage across Europe with the printing of the Scriptures for all to read, and the formation of the great reformations, but one should not be confused with what the Pope says below. My partner lived in Rome until his recent death, and you cannot find a bible for sale at any of the bookstores. Unbelievable.

The article CCC 841 says that the Moslims "profess to hold the faith of Abraham". Which puts them in the same boat as you, since we as Catholics can only assume that you all really do 'hold to the faith of Abraham'. Unlike most Fundi's we are unable to read men's minds, a god-like power we don't possess, in order to assertain their intent better than they themselves. If we were to follow your logic, then we would be verifying the lie that there is another god beside the one true God, namely Allah. But, this is not the case, there is only one God and Moslims like Protestants, worship the one God. Like you however, they have an imperfect understanding of him, which we will gladly remedy by spreading the true Gospel to all those in darkness.

Your Church claims to worship the same god as the Muslims, a very false god of a murderous demon possessed pedophile.

Do you have any knowledge of where and from whom Mohammed got his revealation? Why! From "an angel" of course. Apparently his "angel" and the apparitions approved by your church are not in disagreement, WHY, Lance, is that?

Lance, I have to humbly observe that to hold to such very real, very supernatural apparitions (I and others could go into greater length on this) a person must be disobedient to the Holy Written Word of God.

Dr. Phil
Very good point this anti-Christ would not be here if people acknowledged him as the head of a very false religion that has so many deceived with its false teachings. Instead they might be doing all they can to see Catholic people saved

Glad you threw that in Michael. If it were not for them, that bum would not be coming to America, and for that matter nor would all of the illegal aliens from Mexico with him.

Also, if the Pope really believed the admonition of holding fast to scripture, it would be the downfall of him and the RCC. He knows that he has but a short time. . . that wound of one of its heads has already happened with the Reformation. (Rev. 13:3)

Now, he and the second beast (Pentecostalism) "deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by the sword, and did live." Rev. 13:14

Sure. He and his fellow Catholics will do the same, but
in addition to holding fast to scripture, THEY/Catholics
will ALSO hold fast to their sacred traditions, post-apostolic
visions (Fatmia, etc.), and Church authority in general as
being on the same level as scripture; thus defining their

John
Since the Holy Written Word of God commands us not to add to His Word nor take away from it the Pope and those practising Roman Catholicism are not holding fast to Scripture. If we say they are holding fast to Scripture while adding to it (note and they do take away from it, ex. the sufficiency of the completed work of Christ) we are bearing false witness (lying) and give them a credibility they do not deserve and a credibility that can be a hindrance to Catholic people realizing they are wretched fallen sinners in disobedience to Jesus Christ desperately needing to repent and be saved. btw this also applies to 'liberal' denominations who openly disobey the Word of God too.

Behold how the Anti-christ presumes that he knows "sound doctrinal teaching". If he really believed the Bible he would renounce "His Holiness-ship" and realize that the doctrines of the RCC undermine individualism -one of the doctrinal tenets of Galatians. Notice that the church that defies individualism is the one that strives to bring men into the opposite of individualism - TYRANNY.

And we, Baptist type born again believers will be happy to humbly show Benedict 16 what that means in things such as:

Jesus is the Rock that THE Church is built upon Not Peter and the Popes have not followed Peter in his teaching nor the way he lived.

That God is NOT Allah since the CCC claims Catholics and Muslims worship the same god.

That idolatry including making an idol of a lifeless piece of bread is serious and heinous sin against God (btw the RCC has redefined the 10 Commandments)

That the Scriptures are Truth and have the very authority of God to teach us in what we think, believe and how we live about the Traditions of Rome he Magisterium and the lying (demonic) apparitions she has embraced.

That the RCC has played the harlot commiting fornication, spiritual adultery with the kings of the earth and other false religions.

That God's people need to come out of her.

The absolute necessity of being born again of the Holy Spirit to be saved, something that doesn't happen in sprinkling infants.

Believers Baptism

The sufficiency of the completed work of Christ, His shed blood, the very grace of God, to save sinner completely and forever and that NO sacrament and NO other mediators (not even His mother) are needed whatsoever.
