McCain rejects anti-Catholic views
NEW ORLEANS - Republican presidential candidate John McCain on Friday repudiated any views of a prominent televangelist who endorsed him last month "if they are anti-Catholic or offensive to Catholics."

McCain has come under fire since televangelist John Hagee endorsed him on Feb. 27, but until Friday his response had been tepid. The Arizona senator merely said he doesn't agree with everyone who endorses him. He said Friday he had been hearing from Catholics who find Hagee's comments offensive.

"I sent two of my children to Catholic school. I categorically reject and repudiate any statement that was made that was anti-Catholic, both in intent and nature. I categorically reject it, and I repudiate it," McCain said. ...

Typical "Jesuit" indoctrination teaches that: All people who are Anti-Vatican(ist) are Always "anti-Catholic".

This is a false prejudicial & bigoted premise -- And is not always the case with True Anti-Vatican(ists) & Pro-Biblical-"Catholics"/Universalists.

To be Anti-Vatican(ist) does not always necessarily entail one as being "anti-Catholic" or "anti-Universal(ist).

Having said that; I would like to further state that what John McCain really means is that he rejects all "anti-Roman-'Catholic'" views as being "anti-Catholic": which is in and of itself an Historic false prejudicial & bigoted premise/view/comment/statement/declaration/confession/etc.

For Historically, there are over 12 different branches of Orthodox/Trinitarian "Catholicism"; of which Roman-"Catholicism" is but a mere member/number among the dozen or so branches of Historic "Catholicism".

The "Jesuit" element in Roman-"Catholicism", for over the last 468 years, has systemitically indoctrinated and deceived Roman "Catholics" and the general public; into believing that they are the "True" 'Catholics': and that all the other dozens of Historic Catholics/Orthodox-Trinitarian/Universalists are "heretics" if they are not subject to the Roman-"Catholic" 'bishop of Rome' or Roman-Papacy.

Lance, it is assertive Catholics (like yourself & a coworker) who have compelled me to read up on the RCC to confirm or deny their assertions. It's so easy (and inexpensive) now that the Vatican has a website, though the Council of Trent must be found elsewhere, perhaps because its anathemas make Hagee's language tame by comparison. The only candidate who I imagine *might* have even heard of it is Huckabee, though I have low expectations about the avg. Baptist's knowledge of church history.

Rom 1:21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

Then it's probably time to start reading about Protestantism, and then hopefully you'll find a few things you approve of.

Actually, it would be sufficient if you all would leave the condemnation to God, since you all are not divine in nature, though you pretend to be and are just as guilty of wrong doing as any of the rest of sinful mankind. It would be one thing if you just said Catholics are in error, but you attribute our faith to demonic forces, which is worse than simple bigotry....how about ungodly hatred? By all means, follow Christ's example...pray for your enemy's conversion.

The appeasement of Rome continues, but to be sure, McCain is no worse than many nominal "Protestants", who, like Catholics, ignorantly assume that criticism of the RCC is merely religious bigotry.

It amazes me that Catholic apologists think that Protestants, if properly informed, would end their opposition. Au contraire: the more I learn about Rome, the worse it gets.
