After 550 years of decline, a bloodied church is being reborn
For the first time in 550 years, Christianity inside Turkey is growing in numbers and influence. But its recent growth comes at a high price: since February 2006, radicalized Muslims have killed five Christians—the kind of cold-blooded martyrdom not seen in decades.

Modern-day Turkey's 73 million citizens, 98 percent of whom are Muslims, are experiencing social and political upheaval. The country is attempting to improve its economic and human-rights record in order to join the European Union. Turkey's relations with the United States are strained as an ally in the war in Iraq, and because of Congress's aborted effort to pass the Armenian genocide resolution. Also, Turkey's border disputes with Greece over land around the Aegean Sea, as well as violent skirmishes with Kurdish rebels on its southern border, keep this nation's formidable military on highest alert. ...

Gk, just answer one of my posts, as I found it out by answering one of our fellow users in Britain, on how to do it, e.g., Is A Catholic Christian An Oxymoron?, and you'll see the format. I also used this for making quotes that are not from the message I am answering, e.g.,
Gil Rugh said or, wrote:
....The problem is the world doesn't understand that God has chosen Israel to belong to Himself. This makes them the special object of Satan's hatred--and of all those who follow Satan. Psalm 83 shows that nothing has changed in thousands of years. All the promises of the Old Testament depend on salvation and restoration of Israel. Establishment of the Kingdom over which the Messiah will rule depends on the ultimate deliverance of Israel. Only Israel is God's chosen people. To interpret properly the Scripture you have to take prophecy literally. Many in the Church only take note of the curses on Israel, but not the future blessings for Israel. The God has an everlasting love for Israel. God will remember their sin no more.
What Will Become of Israel?

I did read that article in Christianity Today. Very interesting and inspiring, however, as the islamic beast grows in power they will be slaughtered---I am convinced that "COME OUT FROM AMONG THEM" is directed to all believers in muslim countries--lets see how God helps them fulfill that command.
Kinda, one could look at it that way
"COME OUT FROM AMONG THEM
Biblically though the phase is speaking
of Satans church,
Heresy speading, those who twist scripture with mans logic and history.
The largest being the RCC, 1 in 5 people
IN THE WORLD are catolics

Remember the verse is speaking to christians, the wheat
"COME OUT FROM AMONG THEM" is directed to all believers

When the tares outnumber the wheat
and that is happening more and more in todays churches (only ONE exception) its time to bail.

Christianity Today--is it,
or mans opinion (I wouldn't trust it as far as I could throw it, gifts offered to idols, the Bible says to Burn it.)
Christianity Today--same as yesterday,
for the Bible tells me so
Is there anything new under the sun(SON)
Its in the Blood

I'm glad to see that SermonAudio, on occasion uses that confused source, Christianity Today. Apparently, CT hasn't heard of THE BELEAGUERED CHRISTIANS OF THE PALESTINIAN-CONTROLLED AREAS or in general, Submission is all in your dhimmitude. Christians can expect more persecution in Islamic societies than in any other.
