US is ‘worst’ imperialist: archbishop
THE Archbishop of Canterbury has said that the United States wields its power in a way that is worse than Britain during its imperial heyday.

Rowan Williams claimed that America’s attempt to intervene overseas by “clearing the decks” with a “quick burst of violent action” had led to “the worst of all worlds”.

In a wide-ranging interview with a British Muslim magazine, the Anglican leader linked criticism of the United States to one of his most pessimistic declarations about the state of western civilisation. ...

Man, if this is not a case of the "pot calling the kettle black" nothing is. I think the Muslim influence in Britain is beginning to affect his mind. He sounds like Osama. I hope this doesn't mean we have to start watching the skies for British planes crossing the Atlantic with drunken pilots.
Hey Rob, he obviously thinks they were better off with Sadam H.
Amen Susan Miller!!

I have absolutely no problem with the patriot act. I don't care if there are people who are citizens of this country if they want to destroy it then the government has every right to listen to there conversations through wire tapping or any other means. This is wise government. The wicked hide behind the constitution to act wickedly and the ACLU supports them. I want the welfare state completely dismantled and all mosques outlawed and shut down in this country. Perhaps after another strike much worse than 911 this can happen. We shall see only time will tell.

"...the president and his colleagues in both parties have succeeded in scaring the daylights out of people. Government grows in wartime because people are afraid, and they accept the satanic bargain that government offers: Give us your liberty and we will keep you safe. Many people think that when government is suppressing speech or privacy or fair prosecutions, that since those usurpations are so drastic that they must be keeping us safer.

But when the president says that his first job is to keep us safe, He is dead wrong. Read the oath of office: His first job is not to keep us safe, but to keep us free [by upholding the Constitution]. When you have this value judgment between freedom and safety, I’d rather have freedom with danger than slavery with safety." - Judge Andrew Napolitano, Americans: Sheep to the Constitutional Slaughter?

There country is being slowly taken over by muslims who make no bones about the fact that they want England to be under sharia law. This man is a fool, a coward, and an apostate. As I always say just another sign of the times. And a pox on your house for having a problem with the USA.

Yes, America has either has to stop its strange brand of imperialism. It seems to dumps more money and goods into a country that it attacks, than the amount of stuff it destroys, and stops the killing of civilians, though rather imperfectly. If the U.S. does plan to control the Iran problem, I just hope they selectively destroy what's needed to be destroy, and not send in the peace corps and bunches of money afterward.

Thanks to those from England. We have enough liberals in this country to worry about. In a year we'll have a new leader, and someone else new to complain about. There is nothing like variety anyway.

"It has been said that the Anglican Church rests on the three pillars of Faith, Reason and Tradition. The unique strength of Anglicanism lies in our balance of these three aspects of our religion." ( You will notice the Bible doesn't get much mention. ) from,"A Beginner's Guide to the Anglican Church"

Oh No!!
Look at this America!!
Now you're for it, you've upset the Archbishop of Liberalism.

"Ruin Millions" The ArchBish of Cantering through the religions, is all upset about the way the world is panning out around us. Now stop and be nice to the terrorists and their religion of peace, and the ArchBish will love you too.

The reason of course that (Great ) Britain is no longer Imperialist and a world player in authority, is because she has the politics and religion of "Trying to please all of the people all of the time" - as opposed to - "some of the people some of the time." Some might call this new British spinal column a bit more "flexible" than it was in her heyday???
But I'm sure we wouldn't say that on here would we.

Clearly the worst modern plague we have to resist today is Liberalism. If we don't then it's a disease which can prove terminal.
