Huckabee Gaining Ground in Iowa
Former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee, buoyed by strong support from Christian conservatives, has surged past three of his better-known presidential rivals and is now challenging former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney for the lead in the Iowa Republican caucuses, according to a new Washington Post-ABC News Poll.

Huckabee has tripled his support in Iowa since late July, eclipsing former New York mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani, former senator Fred D. Thompson (Tenn.) and Sen. John McCain (Ariz.). Huckabee now runs nearly evenly with Romney, the longtime Iowa front-runner.

Huckabee's rise from dark horse to contender in Iowa is one more unexpected twist in a race that has remained fluid throughout the year and adds another unpredictable element to the competition for the GOP nomination. His support in Iowa appears stronger and more enthusiastic than that of his rivals. ...

terry evans,
I hope you don't mind me saying I am already suspicious of you when you do not use caps when posting your name. I can only suppose that you are trying to project some sort of statement of humility. This makes me not trust you to begin with.
I have read your statements and from them I already have an opinion of you
These things puts us in an adverserial position and you said you did not desire that. Therefore, I have ignored your comments

To All
jd sorry JD
Now I understand how you come to your conclusions when you read, or should I say interpet the Bible, I said
Amen, to Ps 19, yes clairification, and we will get back to this I hope, if ridicule starts the disscussion is over.
I would like to discuss a couple of things with you, my goal is not to prove you or I right, but with the Holy Spirit guiding us, and with humility on both our parts maybe a little unity can come to this comment section.

So your suspicious of humility, the above is humility, not my grammer.
It seems to me that you ignored my comments, (all about your lack of context) but you have read my statements and have an opinion of me.
Meaning= you are so full of self righteous pride
God has an opinion of pride, He hates it

Amos 5:18 Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD! to what end is it for you? the day of the LORD is darkness, and not light.

Thank you JD
When God is not on the earth, you mean the Holy Spirit, your saying untill he that letteth is taken out of the way is the Holy Spirit?
The darkness
Amos is talking about those in darkness
and what the day of the Lord will mean for them. Gods wrath, not tribulation,
I have tribulation everyday, don't you.
Alas the day, even so come, even if it means, my mother isn't saved (and as destruction) come.
How can you read it your way, and I read it my way, are we the same spirit?

Oh yea, Vote Ron Paul

Read these words very carefully concerning saints before the cross where redemption was provided by the death of Jesus Christ. I think you will be able to read the context.

Doesn't Sermon Audio like Ron Paul? We have lots of stories about no-hope loosers, flip flopers, war mongers and liars running for the Republican candidacy, but hardly any about Ron Paul.

You'd think that Christians who believed that "By their fruits you shall know them" and James 2:17 "Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead." would look at Ron Pauls unquestionable integrity, high principles, obvious lack of covetiousness and see the only man who really qualifies himself to be President of the USA.

Huckabee may have more impressive 'Jesus words' than Ron Paul, but Ron Paul's got the faith and the reality working out in both his personal and public life.
