Roman Catholic head Pope Benedict XVI will meet Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah next week for talks expected to center on Christian-Islam relations, the Vatican said Wednesday.
The talks, the first between a Saudi monarch and a pope, will take place next Tuesday. Abdullah, currently in Britain, will be in Italy to meet government officials.
The Vatican does not have formal diplomatic ties with Saudi Arabia and relations have been strained. The Vatican has often called for greater rights for the small Christian minority there.
The Christians, mostly guest workers, are not allowed to practice their faith in public, the Vatican says....

My father received Christ as his Personal Savior in a fox hole in New Guinea during World War II and thus my father is in Heaven because the only requirement for gaining entrance into Heaven is to receive Christ as ones Personal Savior.

Yes Jesus will save you from sin, Backwards again, when you are saved, your saved from God (The Father), from His wrath GG, not from sin (con't) Untill justice, there is no forgivness. God is justice, sin must be delt with. Thats what Jesus did, He took Gods wrath for you, He didn't do that to take away your sins, how can you take back your sins, you think Im sorry is good enough? Agreed. Only Jesus saves his people from their sins, but there are other ways that the people can be saved. And God desired Mary's participation in Salvation history, and because of her, we have a Savior who is both God and man. Jesus could have appeared out of thin air, but then his claim that he understands our humaness would ring hollow. God required that a woman give his son a physical body, and being a gentle God, who respects human will, he asked her cooperation, he did not command it. Now, because of her, we are saved from the darkness of sin, but it was Jesus whose blood washes us clean.
