Harry Potter Author Reveals Books’ Christian Allegory
After years of averting questions on whether Christian themes were present in her wildly popular Harry Potter books, author J.K. Rowling finally opened up this week about the Christian allegory in her latest book, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.”
During a press conference at the kick-off of her “Open Book Tour” on Monday, the British author told reporters that while religious themes were always present she purposely refrained from referencing any particular religion in order to conceal the ending.
“To me, [the religious parallels have] always been obvious,” Rowling said. “But I never wanted to talk too openly about it because I thought it might show people who just wanted the story where we were going.”...
I agree with AVA. The day that a publicly professed Lesbian knows what it is to be a "Christian" is the day we can believe that her books are "Christian" Allegory. Then again, I suppose Billy Joelsteen would say, if she says it is "Christian Allegory" then it must be so. . . we wouldn't want to say anything negative now would we?
By "Christian" Allegory -- Don't you mean "Roman Catholic" Allegory?
After all, This Present "Pope" (not to metion the last "Pope") Is/Was A Notorius Fascist/Right-winged Sodomite: of The J. Edgar Hoover ("Killer-Fruit") ilk!
You Better Believe I see Alot of Satanic-Vaticanist/Roman-"Catholic"-Culitc so-called "Christian" Allegory!
*Note: J.K. Rawling even sounded VERY "Jesuitic" in her explanation: "To me [the religious (so-called 'Christian': read 'Roman-"Catholic"-Cultic') parallels have] always been obvious. . . . . .But I never wanted to talk openly about it because I thought it might show people who just wanted the story where we were going."...
**Alert: If you don't see The Satanic-Vaticanist/Roman-"Catholic"-Cultic "Jesuitic" PARALLELS (ALA DUMBLEDORE/POPALDORE); then just keep your head in the sand; THE SATANIC VATICAN WANTS IT THAT WAY! ! ! ! ! !
I've been waiting for the Dumbledore thing to get its own blurb here before commenting, but I gotta say here is a plain reason to avoid the Potter books. I enjoy magic and fantasy, even horror as much as the next guy, but throwing a homosexual character, espescially one in charge of children, in to the scenario just takes the novels from the realm of being questionable to flat out must be avoided.
Have you found it interesting in that if you've ever tried to warn anyone, even those who profess to believe in God, about the Harry Potter books they act like you are somekind of religious idiot for opposing as wrong something that is so popular and entertaining?
