Thou Shalt Not Kill, Except in a Popular Video Game at Church
First the percussive sounds of sniper fire and the thrill of the kill. Then the gospel of peace.

Across the country, hundreds of ministers and pastors desperate to reach young congregants have drawn concern and criticism through their use of an unusual recruiting tool: the immersive and violent video game Halo.

The latest iteration of the immensely popular space epic, Halo 3, was released nearly two weeks ago by Microsoft and has already passed $300 million in sales.

Those buying it must be 17 years old, given it is rated M for mature audiences. But that has not prevented leaders at churches and youth centers across Protestant denominations, including evangelical churches that have cautioned against violent entertainment, from holding heavily attended Halo nights and stocking their centers with multiple game consoles so dozens of teenagers can flock around big-screen televisions and shoot it ...

Logical result of A)Left Behind Dispensational fantasies. B) Modern "Crusades" attitude of Neo-Conservative, Dispensational, Zionist inspired planned extermination of Islamic people for oil company profits, and C) Red-necked, shotgun toting, pick up truck riding, tobacco chewing Fundamentalists (usually also Dispensational). It's all a plan to get Christian kids ready for Armageddon A.K.A. the War For Zionism to be paid for with Christian money and blood.

Many people trying to save others by their own ideas and works outside of Scripture Alone. Sad.

Thou shat not kill, exept when there's a lot of money to be made by invading a crippled third world country on the pretence of finding WMD, so that you can make billions of dollars out of oil.

At least I think that's how Bush understands it.

Vote Ron Paul and bring the troops back home.

I think you know God better than any of the pastors in this story.
Will you go to hell for playing halo, no.
Will you go to hell for, as the Bible says, knowing your wife, no.
Will you go to hell for "knowing" your wife in the pew during service, I'd say yes because your not right with God.
Same with halo or any other gimmick, that church does not walk with the one true God.

Someone in the Bible said, You strain out a gnat, and swallow a camel.
Don't look at the game, its a diversion, look at the so called churches, those who bring such things into a house of worship.
That same man in the Bible said, if the blind follow the blind......
But hey, whats it to me and you, God will hold them accountable, right?
Someone in the Bible said, My people perish for lack of knowlage.
