'Islam is Peace' media campaign in UK

Brian of London over at Shire Network News took this photo, and comments trenchantly, "This is one of the very buses blown up by a devout Muslim 2 years ago. Maybe th

Islam is Peace - formed after the bombings in London in July 2005 - has initially placed adverts on the capital's buses and Underground trains.

They show a range of Muslims - including a policewoman, a Scout group and the chef Michael Barry - with the slogan "Proud to be a British Muslim".

Organisers say research shows many Britons associate Islam with terrorism.

You guys should search for the sermon here titled SHOULD WE KILL MUSLIMS?

Who says that the terrorists trying to destroy us are not sent by God himself to punish us for our wickedness? We see in Christian society today divorce, pornography, abortion, drunkeness, pre-marital sex, and so on. God killed the Canaanites who engages in sinful activities. Why won't he destroy us?

Many Muslims take their religion seriously. Most Christians do not. When Christians attack Muslims they usually say something along the lines of Muslims are extremists and they follow their scripture seriously while we Christians are more liberaland do whatever we like, e.g. we allow our women to have sex and engage in sexual immorality! So taking the bible seriously is something wrong?

Instead of criticizing the Muslims we should be learning from them and imitating them.

Lance, you are quite right about Islam,'The Orwellian “Islam is Peace” campaign'

http://hotair.com/archives/2007/10/03/new-jihad-watch-the-orwellian-islam-is-peace-campaign/

Rob, you'll never here me say the Iraqi situation was handled correctly. It was and is Iran that needs a few well-placed bombs (not an army mind you. )
Unfortunately, many Mohammedans are really nasty Nazis.

A golden oldie by Caroline Glick says something about our involvement in Iraq.

Rob: You stated "The whole of the Middle East is one big hornets nest and should be left well alone."

That just doesn't work. Bill Clinton left the terrorists "alone" and we wound up with 9/11

When Islamic terrorists want to kill and have killed Americans, the only response to such is war.

Rob, what you say is true, and I agree with you.

I'm not defending the war in Iraq, and I tend to agree that it cannot be won.

It has certainly made things far worse for the Christians in Iraq.

Don't misunderstand me. Islam is a corrupt and evil religion, but I believe that God's common grace and the fact that Muslims are made in the image of God both prevents the worst of what Islam teaches from becoming a reality in most Muslim's lives. However, Satan is real, as the existance of Muslim suicide bombers proves.

My point is that if you keep poking a hornets nest, you shouldn't be surprized if you get stung. The whole of the Middle East is one big hornets nest and should be left well alone. I've no problem with fighting Muslim countries who try to invade my country, but I don't think the USA should be the policeman of the world.

Lance, as a Roman Catholic, you ought to know that the war in Iraq does not fit into the Just War theory of your church. It wasn't legally declared by Congress (as the Constitution says a war must be), it has no achieveable objective, there isn't a reasonable chance of winning, the evil that is being committed does not outweigh the good that was supposed to come of it.

This is an unjust war, a waste of human life, a waste of tax payers money. We should just bring our troops home.

And in case you didn't know, the only Presidential candidate that we can be certain will bring the troops home is Ron Paul.

"Islam is a faith whose primary focus is peace and submission to one God."

Peace is all very nice, but the other word, submission, is the one to be worried about. "Islam" means "submission" (not "peace").

Rob, Islam has been at war with the West since long before Iraq -- for 14 centuries, to be more or less precise.

Islam refers to the non-Islamic world as "Dar al-Harb" (the house of war), since the war to impose Islam is still going on in those places.

Do you thin there could be any relationship between Isam's hatered of the West and the fact that we've invaded a Muslim contry under false pretences (no WMD were ever discovered), having previously economically destroyed that country by 10 years of sanctions, causing the early deaths of thousands of children?

Perhaps its just coincidence that the CIA deposed a democratically elected government in Iran in the 1950s just because the Iranians wanted to keep a little of their oil wealth, and then the CIA set up an American friendly puppet dictator (the Shah).

Perhaps its only a coincidence that most of the 9/11 bombers were from Saudi Arabia, but Saudi Arabia is friendly towards American oil interests and is happy to have American troops in the Muslim's most holy country, yet America did nothing to punish Saudi Arabia for the terrorists they produced.

Personally I can't see why Muslims hate the West. It must be because they are all pure evil. There can't be any rational explanation. After all, if they are all just pure evil, the its much easier to kill tens of thousands of thier women and children.

Walt Sawyer from Conn.,

You said "we must admit that when one considers the hundreds upon hundreds of millions of Muslims in the world, the troublemakers are really a minority."

Eighteen muslim terrorist suspects were arrested in Canada last year, allegedly acquiring or planning to acquire explosives and planning to blow up the Canadian parliament buildings, a major CBC building in Toronto, and seize the Prime Minister and behead him.

The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) TV reported on the National news a poll taken by Environics that said 12% of Muslim Canadians said the alleged terrorist plot was justified!!

12% means several hundred thousand Muslims in Canada believe terrorism is justified. What would be the percentage in other Muslim countries such as in Africa, the middle east, and southeast Asia? This would translate to millions of people.

Perhaps you are not aware of what the Koran teaches and that Islamic extremists are known to be working to inculcate and intimidate moderate Muslims with their extremist ideology.

I would suggest you study some of the websites on Islam by doing a search with the words Islam and the Bible. You will find it enlightening.

If my less than perfect memory serves me wasn't Winston Churchill accused of something like hysteria regarding Adolf Hitler prior to Germany's attack on Poland? And weren't there people giving a lot of praise to the Nazis as good people? But I would think some of those who had praised the Nazis had to be ashamed of what they did when the Allied troops got to the death camps, well at least among those who had a shred of humanity and were not merely out and out haters of Jewish people.

'Islam is Peace' reminds me of Nazi propaganda telling the world its lies while all along Hilter was planning war and planing to exterminate the Jewish people.

Walt,

It appears that you have pre-judged "Bushies" unfairly in all that loquacious writ.

I live in the South. Always have. I know the evils of prejudice in society and I hate it.

Still, Islam seeks to destroy my way of life and its agenda is to deny Jesus Christ as God, Lord, Savior. I pray that the crosshairs of militants never rest on you, or me, or any of us.
May God grant our Military Victory on the field of battle. Semper Fi.

God's Peace to you,
James

True Christianity and True Islam are BOTH very much
religions of warfare.

The difference is--and I wish more people would
realize this and spread the word--is that ALL of
true Christianity's warfare takes place on the
spiritual level, whereas at least some of true
islam's warfare is still sanctioned and carried-
out in the physical dimension.

This is why there is so much more news of Muslims
blowing up stuff rather than Christians blowing
up stuff.

Why not look at the Islamic nations in the world and compare how "peaceful" they are to those western nations where liberties are enjoyed?

The language you used describing these people groups was very distasteful by the way. I hope sermonaudio deletes it.

These Muslims are either stealth invaders who are maintaining a lie until the right time or bad Muslims who don’t take the Koran seriously – but could become very serious if pressured (terrorized) by their serious brethren.

In either case, the only “peace” that will result is the peace of the graveyard after one sect of Islam remains standing wiping the blood from their swords.

When we are able to calm the hysteria which permeates our souls as a result of the chicken little "the towers are falling, the towers are falling" mantra of Bushies, we must admit that when one considers the hundreds upon hundreds of millions of Muslims in the world, the troublemakers are really a minority. It behooves the Zionists and their allies in Britain and America to focus the entire media on the minority. The word "prejudice" I believe comes from the Latin "prejudicare" meaning to "pre-judge". To judge all Muslims by the actions of a very small minority is paramount to perceiving all Jews as money grubbing degenerates, all Irishmen as brawling drunkards, all Scotsmen as so tight their buttocks squeek when they walk, all Blacks as hoping to achieve the epitome of lifestyles by collecting welfare while raping white women, all Southerners as redneck progeny of incest, and all contributors to Sermon-Audio as "Bible thumping bumpkins". Sterotypes are based on ignorance and the mean spirited paranoia of under-achievers who have an agenda they cannot reach with truth. Many disciples of Christ were martyred because of the untruthful stereotypical accusations about the "sect" that the first century Jews promoted among the government leaders of the time.
