The "Five Pillars" of Islam – charity, fasting, prayer, belief and pilgrimage – are being taught to public school students in Nyssa, Ore., under the guise of world history, the school has confirmed to WND, even though a parent raised a complaint about the same teachings a year ago.
In a letter to parents following the concerns that were raised at that point, Supt. Don Grotting and other school officials told parents that the text called "Journey Across Time" features a chapter on "Islamic Civilizations."

American School kids need to be taught about other people, places and things...but not indoctrinated, not brain-washed, nor turned against their own society. America like every other nation that ever existed, has its good points and its bad...but it has every right to exist...just like any other nation under the sun. People who think, this is going toward a one world Govt, had better be prepared for a shock. Americans should be nationalist first and citizens of the world...last.
This is a disgrace. American children should only be taught white, Anglo-Saxon, Judeo-Christian history, values, traditions, customs, etc. Who cares about what else happened in the world? Let's pretend the Asians, Arabs, Africans etc. don't exist! Who cares what they believe? The only thing our children need to know about THOSE people is that we once enslaved some of them, and we would like access to their markets so we can sell them our products and use their labor to manufacture our goods. After all God is on OUR side not theirs.
