A Florida hospital chaplain says he was fired from his position for including the word 'Jesus' at the end of his prayers, according to report on MyFoxOrlando.com
Reverend Danny Harvey, who worked for the Leesburg Regional Center for more than seven years, claims to be the victim of religious discrimination after he says the hospital staff forced him to resign from his post.
Abigail from Oregon you are so right. We are supposed to be intolerant of other religions. In the old testament when the Jews saw the error of there ways and came back to Father God they always tore down there idols. I guess it was about five years ago the jihad boys blew up a historical face of buddah in Afganistan somewhere. The press went crazy on them for there intolerance. For one jihad boys did something good as I admired what they did. At least they didn't arrest or kill the chaplain. I wonder if that will ever happen in USA.

Well, is the fulfilment of the word of God that we are preaching to people, Jesus christ left us with those testimony that some strenth things might happen but one thing he said that we should not fear them that are in the world.Brother paul incourage us in the book of 2 corinthians 15:58 that we should stand firm in the Lord my word now is that we should continue in the lord.
Actually, "don't be dogmatic" about anything (said tongue-in-cheek), because as soon as you are, you will experience the wrath of others, believers and non-believers alike. "Political correctness" (actually, Post Modernism) has so pervaded not only society, but the "church" as well, that to say anything with any conviction at all (thus implying you are right and someone else might be wrong, heaven forbid) will reap you a whirlwind of trouble. Not long ago another professing Christian called me a "legalist." I made the mistake of pointing out what actually constitutes legalism (the person didn't have a clue) and was that ever a mistake. Yikes! In another instance, someone solicited my opinion about a "near death experience" web site and when I warned her away from it, she became enraged and basically told me to never darken her door again. (Another professing Christian.) So if you are going to speak up, you better be ready for the consequences, for they will surely come--from all quarters.
If you are a Chaplain in public service, you must patronize every religion. You are not permitted to say, "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." (Acts 4:12).
Let those hell-bound souls be! Don't ruffle feathers. Comfort the dying with false comfort. Don't dare mention the Name of Jesus Christ.
You can speak smooth sayings from the Bible, but don't be dogmatic about Jesus Christ and His atoning blood and death on the cross. It might offend!
Ecumenism is tolerance of all religions. The true saints are intolerant!!
