Catholic Youth Day organisers meet Muslims
Islamic leaders have met with the organisers of the Catholic Church-sponsored World Youth Day 2008, and a similar briefing is planned for Jewish leaders.

Hundreds of thousands of pilgrims are expected to descend on Sydney for World Youth Day, which will be held from July 15 to July 20 next year.

The Islamic leaders have been asked to inform their followers about the event to help minimise any inter-faith tension, Bishop Fisher said.

Jim Lincoln,

"Is Rome using Marian Sanctuaries to win over Islam" -- you better believe it.

Rome is uniting all religions under her banner. The popes kissing the koran, praying in mosques, etc. The tie that brings them together is the catholic churches version of Mary.

The Koran denies Jesus as the Son of
God yet it refers to Him as the son of Mary many times. Muslims refer to her as "our lady" as well as catholics.

They need to read Jeremiah chs. 7 and 44, and Isaiah 47 to see what the Bible says about the "queen of heaven" and "lady of kigdoms" (long before Jesus' mother was ever born by the way)

I would recommend to everyone to read the book "Babylon Religion" by David Daniels. It shows how satan's counterfeit religion started at the tower of Babel and is still alive and well today only it has Christian names to replace the pagan names. Good ole Roman(satanic)religion.

The sad part is that Rome is being very successful in bringing fundamental Protestant and Baptist churches back/into its fold. The ecumenical spirit is moving fast. I pray that God will destroy this false religion of the devil quickly.

Oh, oh, a black day for Australia, His Unholiness is planning to curse them with a visit. The folks down under have my sympathies.

Oh, by the way,

Some interesting similarities between the two religions, something that Ian Paisley no doubt noticed.

Christians and Catholics -- never together!
