Homeschooling creates "parallel societies" that must be stamped out, according to the German government's defense of its 3rd Reich homeschooling prohibition being used now to justify the imprisonment of a 15-year-old student, Melissa Busekros, whose case is being taken to appeal.
In a response published on a blog to a letter expressing concern about Melissa's case, Wolfgang Drautz, consul general of the Federal Republic of Germany, said that "the public has a legitimate interest in countering the rise of parallel societies that are based on religion or motivated by different world views and in integrating minorities into the population as a whole.
"If we are to achieve integration, not only must the majority of the population prevent the ostracization of religious minorities or minorities with different world views, but minorities must also remain open and engage in dialogue with those who think...
Vic: The global socialism is here in the schools. It has been since WWII at the latest...
Note: as a disclaimer i am including the fact that, no, I am not being rude (for all you false accusers of the brethren out there). just adding the opinion of a rural ky teacher on what is being taught to our children in the public schools!
I wasn't referring to Catholics, Jim, but the foolish Protestant promoters of gov't schooling! The civil magistrate (in the form of public school superintendent) is not Biblically authorized or competent to teach children.
By the way, I did put up an url to an article in the Houston Chronicle to an earlier article from SermonAudio, you may never want to eat cookies again. It's about a cookie pan under demonic influence.
Dictators don't want to be known for what they are, so they devise terms to befuddle the masses and the watching world. Terms such as left wing, and right wing. Dictators present themselvs as saviors, often by pointing out the evil in other dictators. Each pretends the other is 'way over there' on the opposite end of the political spectrum, in order to deflect from his own similar evil.
It should be apparent that the opposite of totalitarianism is not another form of totalitarianism, both being total government. The opposite of total government is no government, i.e. anarchy. Good government is somewhere between them, not between totalitarian forms.
There is no irony in noting that what Hitler began is now promoted by the left, if you understand that he had the same one world view the left has today. The history books list him as right wing, and Stalin as left wing, even though they both sought the same power, used similar evil genocidal methods, sought the elimination of liberty, controlled education, controlled the news media, etc. They were merely in competition to see which would be top dog in their equal dream, similarly achieved, of world domination.
Garner, contrary to what we've been taught, Fascism just a near relation to Communism, not an opposite pole. Both are hostile to liberal capitalism (Hitler repeatedly denounced it). The main difference is, Marxists deny private property, whereas Fascists (like the papacy & American Progressives) insist on *regulating* private property, as Austrians Ludwig von Mises & Hayek demonstrated. Neither system tolerates liberty of conscience (and by implication, parental authority).
The ironic tragedy in this country is, those fearing Catholic immigration promoted public schools as an antidote, which evolved into bastions of Progressivism instead. From the frying pan into the fire!
It is a bitter irony that historic German identity--the famous "Kinder, Kueche, Kirche" (children, kitchen, church) recommended for German women, for example--is being supported by those who are now being persecuted for "creating a parallel society."
The HSLDA and WND both have links where you can send a polite letter pointing out things like this. Maybe if they hear enough, they'll start catching on.
It is indeed ironic that a law introduced by a right wing fascist extremist in an attempt to prevent a child from learning anything left wing or liberal should now be used by a left wing One World View to prevent a child from learning anything that is right wing or conservative. Just goes to proove that government and politics should leave the education of children to the parents, and that separation of church and state is in reality a good thing. Sadly, it's really all about power, with those who have it wanting to control everyone else. Nothing new under the sun I suppose.
