Judge orders 'gay' agenda taught to Christian children
A federal judge in Massachusetts has ordered the "gay" agenda taught to Christians who attend a public school in Massachusetts, finding that they need the teachings to be "engaged and productive citizens."
U.S. District Judge Mark L. Wolf yesterday dismissed a civil rights lawsuit brought by David Parker, ordering that it is reasonable, indeed there is an obligation, for public schools to teach young children to accept and endorse homosexuality.
If they disagree, "the Parkers and Wirthlins may send their children to a private school …[or] may also educate their children at home," the judge said....

The how is easy. Preach the gospel. The real gospel is grounded in God's word. A few post ago I referenced 3 verses regarding the bible position on homosexuality. Thats as clear as any human wants to see it. to help you further understand my point if my son is playing with a snake i'm not going to encourage that behavior. in addition not all children are the same. some kids you can tell them once and they'll never touth the thing. Others need constant supervision and instruction. Souls are the same way. as a seed planter i can be stumbling block or a nurturer to the harvest.
Rom 14:11-15 11 For it is written: "As I live, says the LORD, Every knee shall bow to Me, And every tongue shall confess to God." 12 So then each of us shall give account of himself to God. 13 Therefore let us not judge one another anymore, but rather resolve this, not to put a stumbling block or a cause to fall in our brother's way. 14 I know and am convinced by the Lord Jesus that there is nothing unclean of itself; but to him who considers anything to be unclean, to him it is unclean. 15 Yet if your brother is grieved because of your food, you are no longer walking in love. Do not destroy with your food the one for whom Christ died.
I agree, we need to be working until Jesus comes, but what I haven't gotten from you is "how"? In my sermon yesterday, i talked about the sin of homosexuality. I pointed out a hurch that has a sodomite pastor and that reaches out to sodomites, confirming them in their sin. Is that the answer? Let them live in their sin and tell them that Jesus loves them anyway? Do we teach our children to tolerate AND accept this lifestyle as this article says, and then try to win them? Or do we preach the truth that it is a sin, and like all other si, God hates it and will judge them accordingly if they don't accept Christ and turn from it? These are huge differences that must be addressed if we are to cooperate in reaching them.
You know better than this I can't save, heal, or change anyone unless the Holy spirit or the lord sanctions or does it. I don't get any glory only jesus. Its not about me or my own agendas. Its about the Lords agenda. If the spirit leads me two give someone 2 aspirin- get me two aspirin. If God puts on my heart to do major surgery- wheres my scalpel. We can't sit here and cast aspertions on each other for points. the world is dying around us and the harvest is getting ripe. My heart hopes there is time to plant more seeds where ever they are out of love not righteouness. i place post here with the hope that other believers won't get caught up in packing for the flight home but will work up the last minute when jesus comes to take us home.

furthermore i have yet to see you truly use any scripture to reinforce any of your positions. I'm not interested in being right for the sake of being right. afterall you shouldn't be casting rocks if your a sinner. My hearts desire is to plant the seeds of the gospel, provide the word, and make myself availble for others who need prayer, who need help but afraid to ask (making myself usable by the holy spirit). afterall faith without works is dead!

wits07-I agree with "promoting" the Word, now which one do we promote? Sin is a sickness that needs to be healed or sin is a state from which we need to be delivered? Do we just need a doctor to make us better or do we need a Savior to resurrect us? Do we need medicine to cure us or do we need grace to save us? Do you see the problem here? We can't agree on the answer because we don't agree on the problem. People can't find truth if truth is two opposites. I will choose to use the scriptures, "You must be BORN AGAIN".

Jesus was making a comparison. Just as the sick need a doctor, so the sinner needs a Savior. Really quite simple. If He were saying that those He hung out with were sick, then He was also saying that the Pharisees were whole. I don't think you would agree with that.
wits07-sin is not a sickness. If it were, you would not be personally responsible for it. That is a scheme of the devil to try to make people feel better. Do you really think Jesus had to die on the cross to forgive you of a sickness? Do you have to ask someone to forgive you for getting cancer? How idiotic! As for other stupid comments, what's this about spitting in your face? How do you know I'm not black? I agree that to equate gay rights with the civil rights movement is ludicrous. Salutations, Two things. First lets refer to the "WORD" by reading 1 cor 6:9-11, Lev 18:22, and, 1 tim 1:9-10. CBC, these verses should be part of the foundation of any discussion regarding the sickness of sin. Bayard Rustin was one of the architects of the "civil rights" march on Washington in 1963. He was a black man and also gay. Read your gay history and black history. (It's all a part of "our" American history.
Wits07-I hope that you are not saying that homosexuality is a disease. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt in meaning that this lifestle is sick as oppossed to being a sickness.
I know this sit offers an outlet for our frustration. I would like to challenge all concerned believers to post resources that can be brought to bear to start combating this sickness. Like links to websites (PAC's, charities, or other forums) that foster action or prayer in engaging the enemy. Swords(the word) and Prayers are my weapons of choice. Remember Joshua 24:15 "And if it seems evil to you to serve the LORD, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD."
I will never understand why homosexuals are given rights similar to those of the "Civil Rights" origin. We're not talking about an unchangeable attribute in the individual such as skin color. They are solely defined by a behavior, which is their sexual preference. You take away the sexual act or other intimacy and all you have are roommates. It is a fact that there are gays who have turned straight, and straight people who have turned gay. This past year two men working at a FL university were busted for getting benefits as "partners" when in fact they were straight roommates who lied to get the benefits. How can you give civil rights to someone based on a sexual behavior? Soon the laws will be changed and gays will be allowed to marry. Then if you or your pastor speaks out against gays youwill fined and/or jailed. It's coming, and that very soon. What will you do?
