Activists warn Christians targeted under new 'hate crimes' proposal
Two Christians in Australia have been indicted for criticizing Islam, and another for criticizing Zionism. A filmmaker has been threatened with arrest for using the word "homosexual" rather than "gay." Now a German priest faces jail time for publicly criticizing abortionists, and in Holland, "fornicators" and "adulterers" are protected classes and cannot be criticized.
All courtesy of the concept of federal "hate crimes" legislation, which unless defeated soon could be mandatory in the United States, warns a rising chorus of critics.
"All that matters are the delicate feelings of members of federally protected groups," said Michael Marcavage, director of RepentAmerica.com "Truth is not allowed as evidence in hate crimes trials. … A homosexual can claim emotional damage from hearing Scripture that describes his lifestyle as an abomination. He can press charges against the pastor or broadcaster...
This is also a wake up alarm for all Patriots living in Amerika. As we are coming more and more under the influence of the United Nations and a "world government" our Patriot distinctives will be erased. We don't fit the agenda and eventually policy will swallow freedom and remove anyone in the way.
The First Amendment was ratified on December 15, 1791. The Amendment states:
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."
Sounds like "the last" of "the first" Amendment. If they take away a part, what shall keep them from taking the rest? The whole amendment to the constitution is threatened by this proposed law, disguised as supposedly being protective of those who are evil spoken of. It is actually designed to destroy all forms of religious liberty.
"When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn." Proverbs 29:9
You sound like one of them Times Square Christians. Preach repentance? Speak against evils even if it means prison?? Love men so much that you labor in prayer for them for hours every morning and then preach like a dying man to dying men??? I'd say you are not into the entertainment, freedom oriented, sin condoning church. Am I correct?
Psa 94:16 Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity? Amen, Mike! We have a number of pastors who post on this site. Men, will we stand up for the Lord and speak against the evils in our land, even if it means lawsuits and maybe even prison? All Christians, we live in this world, we touch lives every day, are we touching them for Jesus? Will we call sin, sin? Will we call people to repentance? Will we tell them that the answer is Jesus or Hell? We must or our nation will continue to fall. Maybe that is exactly what we need to separate the sheep from the goats in the House of God! Judgment will begin with us! Jesus said, "If you're not for Me, you are aginst Me". It's time to rise up, Christian! RISE UP!!!
How is it that Howard Stern can fill the airwaves with filth?
Answer: Men love darkness rather than light.
The heart of man is deceitful above all things and desparately wicked.
We are witnessing the paganisation of a nation before our very eyes. The politicians who have no regard for truth, march in step with the loud, vocal pro homo agenda which gets its way through causing others to fear them. Our way or else!
We need men of truth who will stand up against these workers of iniquity and have no fear of the darkness, but instead have the fear of God.

There is a dangerous trend in the federal courts today. It's sweeping from courtroom ... to cloak room ... to the halls of Congress.
It's called CENSORSHIP ... and its got Christians in the cross-hairs.
In the last two weeks, the ACLJ has initiated two major projects, both involving the right to proclaim biblical worldviews on television and radio. Both present enormous ramifications for Christian broadcasters, as well as people of faith, nationwide.
The first case is actually in federal court right now. It involves the use of a common phrase by a Christian radio station with a biblical component or potential biblical worldview.
The moment key phrases and words can actually be deemed ''off-limits'' by broadcasters is the beginning of a dangerous trend towards censorship ... and the end of free speech for Christians.
It is imperative that America's airwaves remain open for the proclamation of the Gospel and the communication of a biblical worldview.
How is it that ''shock-jocks'' such as Howard Stern can fill the airwaves with every filth imaginable, yet Christian broadcasters must dilute their message?...
