Shamu the Killer Whale Attacks SeaWorld Trainer

SAN DIEGO â€” A trainer was injured during a show Wednesday at SeaWorld Adventure Park after Shamu the killer whale grabbed his foot and pulled him underwater twice, authorities said.

The 39-year-old man was taken to a hospital and was listed in good condition, said Mike Scarpuzzi, a park official. Scarpuzzi, who oversees zoological operations, said he did not know the extent of the trainer's injuries.

The park declined to release the trainer's name, saying some members of his family have yet to be notified. Scarpuzzi said the trainer has been working with animals for 16 years, including 12 spent at Shamu Stadium. ...

This actually happens all the time, it's just usually kept as quite as possible. Only when it can't be avoided will it make the news... looks like this happened during a show, which would be very difficult to keep quiet.

While shamu killings aren't exactly uncommon, naked crack smoking men getting partially eaten by crocodiles while skinny dipping is actually rather rare. www.metro.co.uk/weird/article.html?in_article_id=27321&in_page_id=2

I think it could be better stated that the whale hurt him while playing with him. If it was an attack, I don`t think he would still be alive.

No, G.G., one has to expect that from any animal. The fall of Adam and Eve brought sin into the world.

Peace between men and animals will not return until the Millennium.

What else would you expect an animal named "killer" to do....however...he must be Republican....he failed to carry out his program.
