US President George W. Bush has prayed at a church in Hanoi, joining worshippers a week after Washington dropped communist Vietnam from its blacklist of nations that repress religious freedom.
The president and First Lady Laura Bush, in the Vietnamese capital for an Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit, joined a mixed Protestant and Catholic congregation at the ornate Cua Bac church.
"A whole society is a society which welcomes basic freedoms, and there's no more basic freedom than the freedom to worship as you see fit," he said after leaving the French colonial-era church.
Bush said he hoped "that people all across the world will be able to express religious freedom."...
I believe that George holds to his father's Masonic views that you can get to god through any path that you choose. Tis "god" that he worships is not "I Am", it is Satan himself. The religious right needs to wake up and see that they have not once, but twice been used again for their vote and support! Test all spirits!
I'm surprised no one is commenting on the bigger story. I mean, we know that people in high places have strange worship habits. But what about the fact that Viet Nam is now being given a clean bill of health in terms of its persecution of believers? Doesn't the government know about "show" churches that have been present in every Communist nation from the beginning. Christ is being sold out again. Pray for the suffering church of Vietnam!
And by his actions, he's showing his approval of mixing true with false, darkness with light, hot with cold...thus rendering himself lukewarm...and such are spewed out by God,according to the testimony of John the Revelator.
So the president and his wife worshipped in a false Protholic..or is it a Cathestant church....hmmm?!?!?!? Not good. I think the Puritans who set foot on American soil are rolling in their graves.
