Texas governor: Non-Christians condemned to hell
Texas incumbent Gov. Rick Perry says he agrees with the Christian belief that non-Christians will be condemned to hell, prompting a rival in this week's gubernatorial election to declare the Republican "doesn't think very differently from the Taliban."

Perry said in a report in the Dallas Morning News that he agreed with the Christian principle as stated by Cornerstone Church pastor John Hagee that Jesus Christ is the only way to salvation.

"If you live your life and don't confess your sins to God almighty through the authority of Christ and his blood, I'm going to say this very plainly, you're going straight to hell with a nonstop ticket," Hagee said during a 90-minute service in San Antonio in which Perry was introduced to the megachurch's congregation. ...

I'd rather pity Carole Keeton Strayhorn. She believes "there are many ways to heaven. We're all sinners and we're all God's children." Where does that leave Ben Laden and Sadaam?

GOV. Perry dared to tell the truth. Unbelievers hate the truth, and Jesus in particular. Just look at how Hollywood constantly attacks christians and Jesus. Their place shall be in the Lake of Fire.Rev:20;15.

We know that if a man keeps the law, that the end of the commandment is all things in Christ Jesus: and there we are forbidden to hate our enemies, or cause their stumbling, or to let them be ignorant of their part in the brotherly covenant, nor yet are we permitted to conceal the things the Lord has shown to us.

Spare them not, but give them fair warning in the spirit of meekness, that, if we be false or unpleasant in any way, let the LORD our God rebuke it (should he will it).

The article title is wrong, or more likely, pointed to make a political attack. Gov. Perry didn't comdemn anyone. Scripture does.

John 3:18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son.

In His service... Arthur

I think mabe there is a misunderstanding of the zionist christian position here. I don`t think Steve or Mr. Hagee are advocating Jews being saved apart from faith in the blood of Christ.

In the words of prophet, They will look apon me who they have pierced, Joseph will reviel himself to his brothers the second time he sees them.

Likewise Moses, who was rejected the first time he came to the Jews, was accepted on his next visit.

This view is also supported in the second half of Romans 11.

There is no other name given amoung men whereby we MUST be saved. Acts 4-11

I agree also with the governor's position: I just wish he had stated that with more conviction. And, salvation is in Christ alone for both Jews and gentiles. Praise God that in His mercy He saves both!

Steve from Virginia -- The bless them that bless thee and curse them that curse thee was a blessing (and curse) specifically and only to Abraham, not to every physical descendent of Abraham.

God is not a racist.

The great nation God would make is all the believers, Jew and Gentile, as we read in Romans that Abraham is the example to all that believe, the first to be counted righteous because he believed God. All those who believe God are the true Jews.

Physical Jews who do not believe are of the synagogue of Satan, according to scripture, broken off, burned, not even true Jews.

Steve, you used the wrong biblical reference in your attempt to infer that you can be a christ-rejecting jew and still make it into God's heaven. If you read the passage you quoted, you will see that God promised that out of Abraham would come many not one nation. This has been true as God has been calling out a people to himself both from the Jews and the Gentiles. You and others who advocate redemption and salvation outside of Christ alone do insult the work and person of Jesus Christ.

Genesis 12:2-3
And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou sahlt be a blessing:
And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

I agree with the governor's position: non-christians will go to hell. Although he'd do well to stay away from John Hagee.

"This article is not entirely true. John Hagee believes that physical Jews don't need Christ as the only way of salvation."

Yes, it's true. And TBN evangelists Jesse Duplantis, Benny Hinn, and John Hagee are all Zionist Judaizers and "Israel Firsters" who think the Jews don't need Jesus, that the Jews are more special and more holy than any Christian.

And the Bible says Jerusalem in the last days, in the Tribulation, is called "Sodom and Egypt" -- and indeed the very worst child pornography and white slavery comes straight out of Israel. The vile and corrupting TV sitcoms that get people laughing at bestiality, incest and homosexuality are products of the Hollywood Jews also.

John 14:6

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth and the life:no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

John 3:16

For God so loved the world, that h gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
