German Courts Decision May Bode Ill for US HomeSchooling
(AgapePress) - An official with a pro-family organization is shocked at a recent decision by a European court, which upheld a German ban on home schooling. However, he suspects the ruling may be an indicator of an unfortunate anti-family trend in courts worldwide.
The case in Germany centered on Christian families who objected to lifestyle indoctrination in public schools in the form of sex education. The matter was sent on appeal to the European Human Rights Court, which sided with the German government.
Larry Jacobs, vice president of the U.S.-based World Congress of Families, says European families are under attack by a bureaucracy and court system that are decidedly not pro-family....
Christian homeschooling is supported better by Christian arguments IN FAVOR of homeschooling rather than arguments against the public schools.
Christian arguments in favor of homeschooling include Deuteronomy 6:4-9, 4:9-10, 11:19; Psalm 78:4-5; 119:63; Ephesians 6:4; Proverbs 13:20; Genesis 18:19; Exodus 20:3; Matthew 22:37.
"And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And THOU SHALT TEACH THEM DILIGENTLY UNTO THY CHILDREN, and shalt talk of them WHEN thou sittest in thine house, and WHEN thou walkest by the way, and WHEN thou liest down, and WHEN thou risest up". - Deuteronomy 6:6-7

The "anti-family" mind set, or to use an appropriate German word "zeitgeist" has already permeated all western culture and nations.
It started with the "accidental"(?) discovery of contraception, which in turn released the human female from her role and function as mother and wife. This chemical means of decision is in all western societies.
Consequently the human female has been indoctrinated by society, into relegating the family place of the female role, to a lesser inferior position in the community.
Signs of this effect are :- i] Aspirations and ambitions outside the home. ii] Dedication to mammon. iii] Dressing similar to the male to take her place alongside him. A genderless society.? iv] Rejection of the traditional female role and funtions in community and home. v] The male, as ever, has gone along with this change to traditional mind set, for peace of mind, and it's easier.
This zeitgeist is anti-Christian and the west pursues it in an inevitable way forward. The sad part of our story is, - So do many in the church.
