CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Rev. Will Graham, the grandson of evangelist Billy Graham, will lead his first U.S. crusade this week.
The 31-year-old's appearance at the three-day Greater Gaston Celebration is a first step for a man whose grandfather has led more than 400 crusades worldwide, and whose father, Franklin, has preached in 33 states and several countries.
CONT. Statement of Faith Cont. and associated for worship, work, and fellowship. We believe that God has laid upon the members of the local church the primary task of giving the gospel of Jesus Christ to a lost world. (9)THE ORDINANCES:We believe that the Lord Jesus Chrisst has committed two ordinances to the local church:Baptism and the Lord's Supper. We believe that Christian Baptism is the immersion of a believer in water in the name of the triune God. We believe that the Lord's Supper was instituted by Christ for commemoration of His death. We believe that these two ordinances should be observed and administered until the return of the Lord Jesus Christ.
So there after reading the Statement of Faith of that Non Denominational Church that my brother belongs to, do you still think that that church is not a Fundamentalist Protestant Church but is apostate?
CONT. Statement of Faith Cont. perpetual intercession for His people, and personal, visible return to earth. (5)THE HOLY SPIRIT:We believe in the Holy Spirit who came forth from the Father and Son to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment and to regenerate, sanctify, and empower all who believe in Jesus Christ. We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells every believer in Christ, and that He is an abiding helper, teacher and guide. (6)REGENERATION:We believe that all people are sinners by nature and by choice and are, therefore, under condemnation. We believe that those who receive Jesus Christ as Lord and believe Him to be their Savior are regenerated by the Holy Spirit. (7)THE LAST THINGS:We believe in the personal and visible return of the Lord Jesus Christ to the earth adn the establishment of His kingdom. We believe in the resurrection of the body, the final judgment, and the eternal peace and joy of the righteous, and the endless suffering of the wicked. (8)THE CHURCH:We believe in the universal church:a living spiritual body of which Christ is the head and all regenerated persons are members. We believe in the local church:consisting of a company of believers in Jesus Christ, baptized on a credible profession of faith, CONT.
You state that the Non Denominational Church that my brother belongs to is not a Fundamentalist Protestant Church but is apostate? Here is the Statement of Faith for that Non Denominational Church: (1)THE WORD OF GOD:We believe that the Bible is the Word of God, fully inspired and without error in the original manuscripts, written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, and having supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct. (2)THE TRINITY:We believe that there is one living and true God, eternally existing in three persons; that these are equal in every divine perfection, and that they execute distinct but harmonious offices in the work of creation, providence and redemption. (3)GOD THE FATHER:We believe in God the Father, an infinite personal Spirit, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power and love. We believe that He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of men, that He hears and answers prayers and that He saves from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ. (4)JESUS CHRIST:We believe in Jesus Christ, God's only begotten Son, conceived by the Holy Spirit. We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles and teachings. We believe in His substitutionary, atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension into Heaven, CONT.
Nothing wrong with being wacked out....anyway, Jesus and his Apostles were accused of being under the control of the devil....I guess those of us who are wacked out are in good company and assured of being true Christians, which means logically that the nondenominational church of John Yurich's brother is apostate and compromising.
John Yurich: The nondenominational church that refuses to speak out against apostate "christianity" is refusing to obey the scripture. To expose error with the light of truth is required, something that the New Evangelical movement which many of the non-denominational and "community" churches refuse to do. The devils believe in the Trinity and the deity of Christ, more so than any man I believe. If your idea that holding to the trinity and the deity of Christ is the article of a true church, you are mistaken. For one, I do not believe that Rome really believes in the Triune God of the Bible at all, but rather a made-up god who agrees with the idolatry, masses, superstition, traditions, indulgences, prayers for the dead, and a host of other unbiblical beliefs and practices that Rome promotes. The true God is revealed in the Bible alone, you will only find Him there. Rome teaches blasphemy about Mary as the "mother of God" and co-mediator, a devilish assault upon the person of Jesus Christ the ONLY mediator between God and men. No, the flimsy argument that Rome is alright because it holds to the "trinity" is a false premise. Even if Rome DID hold to a biblical view of the Triune God, she promotes a HOST of evils that bring her under the wrath of God!
I do not think that all Fundamentalist Protestants are wacked out, just you guys on here. I do not consider my brother, his minister and everybody else at that Non Denominational Church to be wacked out Fundamentalist Protestants because they do not preach against any church that acknowledges the Deity of Christ and the Holy Trinity.
John Y: It is not "preaching hatred" to stand for the word of God and practice separation from apostacy to the gospel. You do not believe in separation, so THAT is why you call it hatred. This is the spirit of the age against truth...if someone disagrees with truth when they hear it, they automatically call it "hatred"...but this does NOTHING to change the fact that DISOBEDIENCE to scripture is still disobedience to the God of heaven. Your name-calling of "wacked out fundamentalists" reveals to all who read such comments that you cannot deal with the truth as it is found in the scriptures, but as a child start the negative jabs and name calling. The Bible states that the unsaved man considers the gospel of Christ foolishness. It is interesting that you refer to Bible believers as "wacked out" in other words...fools. Your devotion to the RCC is rebellion. You have heard the truth concerning the RCC's opposition to the true gospel, and yet you remain in a system of idolatry, and for such idolatry, is under the wrath of God. Rome preaches ANOTHER (different)gospel which is not another (same) gospel that was once delivered to the saints. God's curse is on the RCC because of this truth from the scripture. To flee the curse of God is not "wacked out"... but is obediently wise.
John Y its time you started reading the Bible. The whole of It. Stop getting your pen knife and cutting out the thing you dont like and then saying others preach hatred? Its you who needs to know the true and living God of the whole of Scriptures.! If you dont like to read the whole of scripture Try downloading relevant sermons on this topic that you may see.
You guys really are sick you know that with all that preaching hatred toward the Graham's just because they do not tell Roman Catholics, Eastern Orthodox and Mainline Protestants who come forward at those Revival Meeting Crusades to receive Christ as their Savior that they have to leave the Roman Catholic Church, Eastern Orthodox Church and Mainline Protestant Churches and join a wacked out Fundamentalist Protestant Church?
Why do you guys believe that when someone receives Christ as their Savior that they have to leave the Roman Catholic Church, Eastern Orthodox Church and Mainline Protestant Churches and join a Fundamentalist Protestant Church or else they will in no way gain entrance into Heaven?
Denominational barriers exist because of specific doctrines each holds dear. To deny the validity of these barriers is to deny the importance of doctrine, or may I say, truth, which is the real issue here.
Dan, in many cases these various denominations are in sin, so it really doesn't if you tear down the barriers between them or not, because either together or separate, they are not living in the Christian way. Many of these revival meetings are incorrect,
or like the Promise Keepers,
The above is something that the Southern Baptists have a hard time keeping away from.
I would suppose William Graham decided he was going to go into the family business. I only hope he was called to be an evangelist.
