Anti-Abortion Group Loses Tax Exemption
The Internal Revenue Service this week revoked the tax exemption of an anti-abortion group, Operation Rescue West, after receiving a complaint that it had violated prohibitions on electioneering by nonprofits in 2004.

The group had promised tax deductions for contributions to help defeat the Democratic presidential candidate, Senator John Kerry.

The organization said the agency’s ruling would have little impact on its operations.

“We have reorganized as simply Operation Rescue,” said Cheryl Sullenger, the group’s outreach coordinator. “Losing our tax exemption doesn’t have much of an effect on us, one way or the other. We have learned some lessons through this whole thing, and I think we’re in a better place now than we were before the I.R.S. investigation.” ...

Amendment I

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

The following is from www.hushmoney.org

Churches Need Not Apply

In order to be considered for tax-exempt status by the IRS an organization must fill out and submit IRS Form 1023 and 1024. However, note what the IRS says regarding churches and church ministries, in Publication 557:

Some organizations are not required to file Form 1023. These include:

Churches, interchurch organizations of local units of a church, conventions or associations of churches, or integrated auxiliaries of a church, such as a men’s or women’s organization, religious school, mission society, or youth group. These organizations are exempt automatically if they meet the requirements of section 501(c)(3).

If you get right down to where the nail splits the wood "We The People" are to blame for letting this I.R.S. threat go on as long as it has.
Lyndon Baines Johnson is the one who instituted this grand plan --- Yes, he's the KNUCKLEHEAD that started the whole thing.

You bunch of spineless jellyfish --- if you want to change it UNIFY your efforts --- CALL --- WRITE and E-mail your Representatives (Public Servants ??? --- [ they don't know what that means ]) ---

REMIND them WHO they WORK FOR --- and KEEP REMINDING them --- AND IF they don't get things RIGHT, then we MUST VOTE them OUT !!!

We need to see to it that their Pay Plan is DONE AWAY WITH Also !!!

They Need To DO The Job "We The People" Put them There To DO And When The Job Is DONE they Need To GO Find Something Else To DO With NO FURTHER Pay From TAXPAYERS !!!

Wake up America !!!

Enough IS *ENOUGH* !!!

P.S. John Kerry ??? I have never seen a bigger FAKE !!! But then again there are a lot of THEM in Washington, DC ---and don't you know we are LONG OVERDUE For A THOROUGH HOUSECLEANING There !!!

How do you know that we are all going to lose our tax exempt statue sooner or later? Some churches are so poor especially the churches in the mountains of Tennessee, Kentucky and Arkansas that if they lost their tax exempt status they would not be able to remain open because they would not be able to pay income tax or property taxes. So whoever the idiot was who stated that churches should not be tax exempt has not thought through the ramifications for churches if churches were not tax exempt.

Good!
Tax exempt status is for sissy Christians who are willing to compromise. We're all going to lose it anyway sooner or later, so it's best to get used to it now.
