Ayman al-Zawahri, considered Al-Qaida's No. 2, weighed in on the conflict in Israel and Lebanon in a message aired Thursday.
CAIRO, Egypt - Al-Qaida's No. 2 leader issued a worldwide call Thursday for Muslims to rise up in a holy war against Israel and join the fighting in Lebanon and Gaza until Islam reigns from "Spain to Iraq."
In a taped message broadcast by Al-Jazeera television, Ayman al-Zawahri said the terrorist organization would not stand idly by while "these (Israeli) shells burn our brothers.
"All the world is a battlefield open in front of us," said the Egyptian-born al-Zawahri, second-in-command to Osama bin Laden....
Where was Mr. Gore and his ilk 25 years ago, when the "scare" was global cooling? Generally speaking, liberals are fools: "A fool says in his heart there is no god".
I almost hope America has a rough winter this year so that Gore and the Global Warming Crime Stoppers Force will shut its trap for awhile. It's always summertime when they start ramming that foolishness down everybody's throat.
Asfor Al-Zawahiri, glad he's finally got the bright idea to start trying to include more Muslims in the jihad slaughter. All those non-Muslims were really starting to feel the stress of having to carry out jihad all by themselves. You can only lob off so many heads a day, and of course you can only blow yourself up once, so it'll be great for the jihad if some Muslim recruits can be brought in to relieve the non-Muslim mujahideen.
Someone should tap Al on the shoulder and inform him there would be no Mideast conflict if there were no Muslims of his ilk. He wants Muslims to join? What cave has he been squirreled away in?
